Just a heads up SSN news alert Eric Dier news conference coming up, don't know why, it may just be an England thing but he's usually worth watching.

What could it be?

Break-up with Dele?

Sex tape?

Bummed Wilshere?

#cantwait
All of those thing cunningly disguised as an everyday answering of pretty mundane questions put to him by the sky sports correspondent, was asked a few Spurs questions but kept to the England brief really.

I can imagine one of the England coaches saying to the players "we have an obligation to do a press conference, any volunteers?"
Dele Alli's hand goes up- "Eric will"

He did a great interview today with Radio 5. Sounded really mature and grounded talked about how he missed the mid season break in his first season, really enjoyed and benefitted from a holiday and a full preseason last summer. Talked about all the positions he has played in and how much that has benefitted him and mentioned the fact he played DM in Portugal so knew he could do it, but is still learning and told the reporter to come back in 5 or 6 years to see if he was a complete player.

Complete Player - almost like Martin Jol wrote that line for him.

Anyone just see that - positioning good, a little 'rusty' though at CB

Chin up lad, you're a cracking player

He may be a bit rusty there but it isn't his position. He should be in that first XI as the DM all day long. Shouldn't ever need to drop back unless there's an emergency like an injury or a sending off. Even then you'd sub out someone for another CB and keep him in DM if you can.

Did anyone spot Dele Alli sprinting down the tunnel on the hunt for a decent WiFi connection?

"Hey @ericdier, glad to see our finishing practice is paying dividends etc" *posts vid*
