Corriere dello Sport claim Juventus have completed the signing of Wolfsburg forward Edin Dzeko and the Bosnian will move to Turin in June.

The Italian publication claim the Serie A giants have tied up a deal for the 24-year-old, who was strongly linked with Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea during the summer, in a deal worth a combined €30 million.

The complicated transfer reportedly dates back to Wolfsburg’s signing of Diego, who they brought back to German football in the summer for €20 million. The newspaper claims the Bundesliga side have only paid €10 million of the proposed €20 million for Diego, and that during negotiations for Dzeko, Steve McClaren’s side also asked for Mohammed Sissoko to be included in a part-exchange deal.

Juventus have therefore agreed to pay €10 million for Dzeko, in addition to including Sissoko and wavering the remaining €10 million owed for Diego.

Should the reports prove correct, Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini will be hugely disappointed having strongly courted the player. City and Wolfsburg had been locked in negotiations throughout the summer, but the cash-rich Eastlands club were reluctant to match the German club’s £40 million valuation.

Likewise, the previous year saw both Manchester United and Chelsea covet the prolific striker, who has netted a club record 61 goals in 100 league games, but like City, Sir Alex Ferguson and his Premier League counterpart was deterred by the player’s asking price.

I would've wanted him to join Spurs but in reality I don't think there's a chance of that happening so I would still be psyched if he did join my second club

Juve tend to get linked with top players but they haven't really pulled off any major deals recently, maybe Krasic but that's about it. Benzema was another player linked to them today but I think he will choose the EPL.
