I believe the argument was that we should prioritise the wide attacking right position (Sterling was simply given as an example as he was, allegedly, available) over the striker (as Kane is one of the best in the world).

I also believe that is exactly how it played out in January with attempts to buy Traore, Diaz, then Kulu and Kane has shown he's still one of the best in the world.

Wasn't at the time, one of the few times I gave up in a SC thread.
Reminded me a bit of the flat earthers I've occasionally bumped into, starts off being amusing but descends into a feeling of despair when they are unable to grasp your arguments.
