The right decision but this should have been done as soon as he was banned. It's a disaster really as we need Paratici or someone like him behind the scenes in the club.

It’s a total mess but at least this confirms (hopefully) our obsession with defensive antique football is over

Shame on a football level. I thought he was doing some good stuff with signing and in the background. However, we needed to end it. I guess Scott Munn will be choosing his replacement. So maybe something left field from Asia or promotion from within.

Wishing Paratici well when he’s a fucking criminal is a disgrace.

To be fair to him, he's not officially a criminal (yet) because this wasn't a criminal case nor appeal, he's breached sporting rules and received a sporting sanction.

The criminal investigation is still to restart, I'd imagine that could still take years to resolve and Paratici isn't the biggest fish embroiled in that, either.

That was the manager. The signings by Paratici were a lot better than what had gone before.
yes he got the manager in but didn’t hear much moaning last May.

I don’t think I rate his tenure as much as everyone else. His tragic managerial suggestions and eventual appointment of Nuno started another 2 year period of shit after Jose. Yes we appointed Conte 3 months later but that was a necessary escape route for the club which was probably never going to work from a football perspective. If we’d got the 2021 appointment right who knows where we would be now. His talent ID has been decent but you have to say the only transfers that have made a meaningful impact on the first have been Romero, Kulusevski, Bentancur and Emerson (?), two of which felt like last minute deals of convenience with Juve.

I think it was right to not sack him before the ban was confirmed and upheld.

But being completely naive and blindsided to the point where he was allowed to give an official club statement literally the day before FIFAs verdict was shocking by the club. He should've been on gardening leave by then.
