Realistically, if we don’t already have a DOF lined up we are beyond terribly run. Paratici leaving this summer has been obvious since December and the new DOF should be integral to the manager search.

I was thinking about replacements, there is one standout option.

I am not ITK, but based on my 10 years of observation, I will be shocked if they even start thinking about that today.

App
It’s not completely clear yet whether he can appeal or not. So it doesn’t sound over yet. It’s all clear as mud.

If he does go, hopefully he leaves us a list of players he likes.
Appeal again?

Find people rejoicing at this news a bit odd. Our player ID improved immediately under him and we managed to get players out the door, albeit some were on loan. I really do worry about our player recruitment now being honest - we were so poor before he arrived for some time.
I am rejoicing because we no longer employ a convicted fraudster. But I guess that’s odd?

Or in the next 2 to 3 weeks.
Seriously they should have been on it the second they felt what way the wind was blowing.
As AG said, how can Spurs answer any questions from a prospective new coach while we dont know wtf is going to happen?
Total cluster fuck.
Another one.

I do agree to some degree with the recruitment, some great players, some still have question marks over them and a dud or two. Better than we have be doing for a few years so can't really complain.

However what I'm worried about is how much it will affect the good things he has been doing for the youth setups, lots of noise has come through saying how much he has changed things for the better.

Why? I'm fairly sure I've read that he and Levy get on fine.
Talk is he left pool as he was sick of operating under their budgetary restrictions and now wants to try something different. If he got tired at pool under their budget constraints imagine he'd run a mile from us. Plus he's one of the best in world so would have pick of clubs so no way he would contemplate coming here.

Unless Edwards wants to go abroad there are not many options in England for him.

Chelsea, City, Arsenal, and Newcastle, all have a Director of Football.

He obviously won't go back to Liverpool.

Utd is the only real possibility and they have John Murtough who works under the Glazers already. I could see it if they get new owners, but that's seemingly not happening now.

I'd certainly give us a good chance.

Agree it's probably not a good thing but I do understand the view that it's a good thing from some

The club needs change from head to toe and that includes Paratici I suppose

Sadly it's irrelevant as the head isn't going anywhere
TBH this bad period didn't start with Paratici, whilst the search for a head coach was a sham 2 seasons ago, the player recruitment as highlighted by the previous poster has improved

So clearing out the only person who has arguably done a decent jobs doesn't necessarily seem like the right plan either

The appeals of Agnelli, Paratici, Cherubini and Arrivabene were rejected. The appeals of Nedved and all the former members of the board have been accepted.

Now sack him. Do not pay this utter conman another penny.

I think this is unfair. You can't help but feel he's been totally thrown under the bus by the real conmen at Juve.
His improvements in our youth set ups and scouting network should not be overlooked and he has an eye for a good player. I feel he's tainted amongst the fans because of his manager preferences but he's been good in many other ways
