Tevez still hasn't joined another club yet either, is he waiting for another team to be bought out
I think it's fairly obvious that we're waiting on the Madrid players (and a fair few at other clubs) to start feeling unwanted and nearing the end of the window worrying about being a starter in the run up to the WC.
Harry even alluded to doing late business recently. Don't think we'll do shit for at least another month.
I truly don't understand the people who say they hope a buyer hasn't come it. Seriously. Why on earth wouldn't someone want megabucks in the place? I'm sure with Levy still on board we could do good busines....and afford to pay better players more in wages.
Quite simply with the number of super rich clubs in the Prem increasing we just cannot afford to be left behind.

I knew there was a reason the transfer of him, Ribery, Villa and Ibrahimovic hadn't gone through yet!!
Sorry Ravo, what does that actually mean?
I'm honestly not sure what other prem clubs are listed on the stock exchange.
Only a handful of English clubs remain floated: Sheffield United and Spurs on AIM and Arsenal and Rangers on Plus Markets, the more loosely regulated third division of the UK stock markets.
Some people still cling to romantic idea that the face of football hasn't changed irrecoverably from a sport into a business.
It's time to take of the rose-tinted glasses and get ready to sink or swim. It's gone beyond the point of being able to beat them, so I'm afraid we'll have to join them...
You can laugh but if we were bought out by ubber rich (insert name) Tevez would be a high possibility.
Correct person to reply to this time...
It hasn't been confirmed:
* that anyone has definitely bought 60% of a 'leading' English club
* that any deal has actually gone through the City's/FA's legal processes
* that we are even the club in question
I just thought it was a little premature to be writing shopping lists!
Oh come on, people can have some fun. After all, dreaming of big money signings is what we do every year, without fail, anyway. It hasn't been confirmed:

I disagree. Every transfer window that comes around, we spend big money on players. We sign generally top quality players aswell. Its not for the lack of funds as to why we're struggling to crack the top 4, its the continuous changes. If we get a takeover, then we most likely splash lots more money on a number of new players. And possibly even get a new glamour manager aswell. We're already a financially well run club who spend plenty of money on new players, and a takeover is not vital for Spurs. The likes of Everton and Portsmouth struggle to spend big money, and it is those type of teams that need to sell.
