I like GLC but i mean how can we sit here and say GLC is a better player when he has been here a year and a half and has been hampered with injuries?
Because he is. And I think by the last 1,5 years there isn’t much difference for missed games because injuries.

Actually thought Dele would have been a good answer to our problems against Brighton.
We missed somebody who would link midfield to attack.
Dele wouldn’t drop down to help

Think this deal is an interesting snapshot into Levy's thinking of Jose as a whole. Surely if he fully trusted Jose he would let Dele go on loan as he's not going to use him thats clear. But Levy's got to be thinking that Dele might outlast Jose at this point.
This is why i'm thinking that Levy is considering pulling the trigger on Mourinho at the end of the season. Although to be fair you could say that he is hoping for a repeat of the Ndombele 'turnaround'. Tanguy is worth double what he was at the start of the season you'd argue now.

Play the man. At least he typically wants to be on the ball.
It is very bizarre with Lo Celso out. I can understand why you would want remove him from being one of the first names on the teamsheet, but he doesn't deserve the complete ostracisation we have witnessed.

Right now the best approach would be to stick with the current CM2 that's performing well. Stick Alli in front of them behind Vinicius with Son on the left. With Reguilon out we can also revert to the lopsided defenders with Doherty and Davies. But i've got no clue what Mourinho is trying to do at the moment.

Yeah, I agree. I think the players are confused, too. It's super concerning when it looks like a team is playing for the first time together every. single. matchday.

I'm sure Alli has a part in this, he's a self-admitted difficult player to manage, but in the end, we need some form of control during matches. Too often we rely on Ndombele doing the spectacular, and when he's kicked to shit and can't get going, we are screwed. Alli can be a turnover machine, but at least he wants to be on the ball or makes movement off of it. I would be fine if we loaded the midfield with Ndombele, Alli and Lo Celso and simply tried to build from midfield, but Mourinho won't go for that. We have absolutely no control and I love PEH but we constantly put him on an island with his suspect speed, with terrible (in general) defenders, and wonder why we are so incredibly open.

I think Alli also has the potential to play off Vinicius and in addition to that a player that occupies the space between the opposition midfield and defence is more important with Kane injured.

whether you rate Dele or not you gotta feel for him. his manager wont play him and his owner wont loan him out to someone who will. has to be frustrating as hell.

Dele just liked this tweet. Sorry I’m using a different language on Twitter.

As mentioned above the fact he's staying (seems to be Levy's decision) says to me Jose won't be around much longer.

Get Dele playing. We dont have goals in the team outside Kane & Son. He can score. We need him desperately. Bring him back in, he’ll score you 5-10 goals. He’s that type of player who can go on a run. Whoever comes in next in 2 weeks, bringing him back into the team has to be priority #1
