So what's his price tag?

It's not the 80m that was touted a few years ago but how low has it dropped?

30m?
I think somewhere in that ballpark area, I mean you see some of the prices players go for, Dele is still young, HG. If it's lower than that then you can bet on add-ons

Somewhere between 20-30m I reckon. Only way I can see us getting 30+ is from Newcastle. 25m tops from anyone else.

Assume at this late stage best we can hope for is a loan and worry about permanent option later on?

Back in 2017 after Coutinho moved to Barca there were reports that we wouldn't sell him for 150 million. And at 21 they weren't THAT unbelievable.

I think if we get offered less than 30 now we should just try and loan him out. It only takes a couple of goals elsewhere to get people interested again. Newcastle paid 25 million for Willock on that basis alone, and an average Alli is better than him.

Wouldn't be shocked if Levy still values Dele at about £40-50m  but realistically I think £25-30m with add-ons/sell on percentage etc and we'd sell.

Interesting that the Everton move could be a permanent one. I know it is unlikely, but after Lingard's West Ham resurgence, I was hoping it would be a loan for Dele.

it's not DL who has to say
Paratici has to balance the books and if this clears the way for a player we really want in the summer- get it done!

I'm pretty sure Levy will still have final sign off on any transfer Paratici makes...

I get where you are coming from but for me it's FP who has to balance the books and I'm sure stuff is in place for the summer
(dunno what- it just seems like we have a plan tiz all)

Talkshite are reporting the fee we want is anywhere between £30m-£45m.

Not sure he is worth that currently.

He isn't but we might as well give it a go. If we got £25m I'd bite their hand off.
