Dele Alli says he is ‘trying to express myself and have fun’ after starring in Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Wolves on Sunday.
The Spurs midfielder has started three of Ryan Mason’s four Premier League games in charge since Jose Mourinho’s sacking last month.
I think he has worked hard in the games he's had lately. He hasn't been as wasteful in possession and has been dropping deeper than we're used to to try to get on the ball. He hasn't tried to nutmeg every player that's come near him and has generally been pretty positive with his effort and contribution. The fact that he has a smile back on his face is an added bonus for me. He's making himself hard to drop which you could hardly say about the previous 18 months.
