Perhaps they meant to say he is paid circa £95k a year, which is more appropriate.

Lets hope Bent cracks on now. He's been getting good chances in recent games, shouldn't be to long now before he starts finding the back of the net on a more regular basis.

Followed the link and the table i got had this for Bent:

which is £87.5k per week, not £95K - not much difference though

That table just looks confusing - at the top it says "POS NAME CLUB E per Week Annual" the bit in bold presumably meaning Euros per week, but then all of the figures are labeled as Sterling. I'm not sure what the E/£ exchange rate is but if its in Euros then it would be a tad more realistic, I guess.

That's assuming of course that its not just complete bollocks all round...:shrug:
