Plus you then get:

The vaccination hasn't been tested enough. Except on 167 poor, innocent, mice and monkeys. Why the fuck they have been test subjects is TOTALLY beyond my comprehension.

With minimal human test subjects.

Carry on trusting who you like dude - makes no difference to me. Just be savvy enough to do your research first.

Always the same mantra... "Do your research!!!11one". Why? I work in IT Infrastructure, I know fuck all about epidemiology, why am I supposed to do any research? Why would we give any of the half baked, incompetent work that I'd do on the virus any credence?

No thanks, I'll leave that to the actual experts.

But tell me, what research have you done? Reading a few dubious articles and watching a couple of poorly produced YouTube videos isn't research. If you've not worked on the vaccine in a lab under the most stringent of conditions, you have done no research.

Now pretty please with sugar on top, stop talking shite and take your medicine.

What, you'll blindly do as you're told?

Blind and frankly fucking pathetic.

Being double-jabbed doesn't mean you aren't carrying covid, so what's the point of a vaccine passport? Better to just go with negative tests
Testing negative doesn't mean you aren't carrying COVID either. You can carry the virus (and be infectious) for days before there's enough of it in your system to give a positive lateral flow test result. A PCR test would detect it earlier.

The vaccine and lateral flow testing both mitigate the risk, rather than eliminating it. Therefore I'd say better to be double-jabbed and test negative. This is what I currently do out of choice (I am double-jabbed and test myself every few days), because I coach regularly and feel it's my social responsibility to minimise the risk to others.

As always, the paranoid fuckwits read the headline and then go off on one. And then we get the inevitable "do your research", followed by their own supposed "research", in the form of unsubstantiated internet articles from oddball websites.

No one is forcing you to be vaccinated. You can take a test instead.

I'm going to say that louder:

No one is forcing you to be vaccinated. You can take a test instead.

Is that clear now?

I trust the scientists to do the actual science in the same way I trust airline pilots to fly me to my destination and I trusted the plumber to unblock my sink the other day.

I might have missed it but I can't see anywhere in it that says your immune system will let other diseases in with the vaccine just that there might be no need to take the vaccine if you already had it. It also states some statistics about the danger of taking the vaccines but it doesn't show the danger of not taking the vaccine. Anecdotally I know several people that have caught it twice but that doesn't really prove anything. Generally the scientists seem to think that you need 2 exposures to the virus to get your immune system up to the best it can be.

Mercola is an absolute despicable person that has spread some terrible lies and just wants to sell his own products.

Lol, why the rating @chaching?

Do the research!

Or carry on with your head in the sand.

Makes no difference to me either way.

By research you mean the unsubstantiated blogs and twitter comments right? Everyone thinks they have it all clear in their own heads, but you don't. In much the same way as people lose a nut on here every time a transfer doesn't happen and believe 100% that it is Levy who screwed it up again.... Nobody on this site i imagine has access to any real undisputable research and data, much the same way nobody on here has 100% knowledge of the negotiations on a transfer. there is always an element of opinion in everybody's commentary that you read and therefore we all need to just calm down a little.

COVID kills that i can say from personal experience is true. COVID can also be quite harmless, also from personal experience. The vaccine does seem to slow down hospitalisations and deaths significantly. There is a choice to take the vaccine but my opinion is by not doing so you are potentially putting yourself and maybe others at risk, but its your choice. As for the game, the club are trying to reduce the risk to their fans in what they believe to be the best way possible. The spikes in cases from the Euro games at Wembley are clear - i know 3 people that got COVID from the semi final and none of them went with each other. I agree negative testing is a better measure to reduce the spread and that is part of the vaccine passport. I watch people marching about freedom and have to laugh a little at the irony, we do live in a country with choice (otherwise marching and protest wouldn't be possible). People just don't like when the choices don't favour them i.e. you can choose not to go to the game (but you want to), you can choose not to go on a booze holiday in Spain (but you want to). First world problems from a nation full of spoilt people who don't know the meaning of hardship and tyranny. My advice is to take all information with scepticism, even if it supports your agenda/beliefs for there is probably some truth and some subjectivity in everything you read. Except this post obviously as i am always right!

Hm. I'd keep an eye on that plumber if I were you.

Seriously? We shouldn't need to go any further than that in itself.

But it's an article without citations quoting a Australian newspaper article without citations or any reference to were they get this info from. And you want us to 'do research' and stop being sheep.

For another few weeks. Marching and protest are about to be made broadly illegal, in cases where the government doesn't like them. With a ten year maximum prison sentence.

All of which makes it even more bizarre that vaccination is the hill that our self-appointed "freedom-fighters" have chosen to die upon.

Government: "I know, we can sneak this huge reduction of personal liberties through while everyone is shrieking about masks and vaccinations".

That's one of many articles out there. They were merely 2 pointing out the deficiencies of the vaccination - any vaccination to be honest - and arguing against its effectiveness or efficiency.

As I said, my reasons for not having the jab differ to the above reasons and have nothing to do with conspiracy theories. But I'm not gonna tow the line if I don't agree.

OMFG!!!!1

You're right!!! The plumber might have fitted secret recording/tracking equipment in my sink! It could be sending data back to Bill Gates and the Illuminati right now!

I think the only way to be sure would be to take a sledgehammer to my entire kitchen area and check.

Thanks for the heads-up!

I took three casuals on over the Summer and I'll be keeping two on at the end of it. 2 have been double jabbed one like you is refusing to. Guess which one I'll be getting rid of come September? I'll give you a clue, my priority is protecting all my other staff, and to keep absence to a minimum. It'll be bye bye to the guy that thinks it's a government made conspiracy and that's a fact.

The prospect of prison wil never stop me from protesting against the things I disagree with. Hasn't in the past, won't do so in the future.

When you've finished, I can recommend you a guaranteed-microchip-and-chemical-free kitchen installer to fit you a secure kitchen.

Go on then. I could do with a laugh. What are your reasons for not getting jabbed?

The prospect of prison wil never stop me from protesting against the things I disagree with. Hasn't in the past, won't do so in the future.
But it will deter others and it will incarcerate many key organisers. Unquestionably, it will crush protest movements in this country, especially as they apply to BLM, other ethnic minorities, LGBT people, women and environmentalists.

The government will opt to persecute those groups and will not take action against (say) protests by far-right White men. I can project that with confidence, because that is the objective. Like the introduction of marijuana laws in mid-20c America, the whole point of criminalising the behaviour is so an oppressive government can implement it selectively - in the USA, against Black people, hippies and leftists.
