Just look at the replies to that tweet!

Typical Arse fans, the only thing it states is that they like him. They may like Klopp, Pep and any other of the world's best but without contact or interest from the other side it means sweet f all! Yet there they are expecting it to happen

I don't think he'll go, but not necessarily because he's former Spurs. I don't think he cares too much for that. More because there's likely better jobs available for him whether that's Man United or abroad.

It really irritates me how delusional their fans are ?

If he goes to Arsenal then no hard feelings towards the man. He was sacked by Levy. It's not like he left us.

I think Poch would take the job, if I was sacked by my boss and had an opportunity to work for their biggest rival, I would take it.

Just to be clear, and apologies if this has been covered, but the official announcement about Poch was that he’d been ‘relieved of duties’. I assume he’s still our employee, we’re still paying him, but he’s on ‘gardening leave’. Is that the case?

Professional sport isn’t like most industries, in all due respect.

The more I think about it, the less sense this makes to me. Does Poch really fancy another 5-year slog trying to take a sub-elite tier English club "up a level", whilst experiencing little new, in the same league, on tighter budgets, and with lesser facilities/resources? I doubt it.

I suspect he'll fancy a move away from England (unless the United job comes along, I guess). He's one of those cosmopolitan footballer-of-the-world types - loads of friends, contacts and connections all over the world game, and I just think it's kinda parochial to think England and Arsenal would be that appealing to him right now. I think a wandering tour of big jobs in big leagues awaits him, in the mould of Jose, Ancelotti, van Gaal, Sven, Capello etc. Poch strikes me as a very similar species to those guys.

That is the perceived opinion, not confirmed, although that's what Castles implied on his podcast. No big pay out, ceases when he gets a new job.

Cheers. Makes sense. Sooner he gets a new role the better. I don’t dislike the bloke, and I don’t think he’ll be ripping up trees wherever he goes, so if Arsenal want him, fine by me.

Everyone knows he would be perfect for the rebuilding job at United.

Relax Poch, recharge the batteries, pick up the United job in the summer, everyone's a winner..... Except arsenal of course

Can’t see him turning up down the road. I think he can bide his time knowing he’ll be top of United’s list, top of Madrid’s list and is probably somewhere near the top of Bayern’s list. He doesn’t need to jump into the first shit storm that comes his way.

This is a sport, it's war out there and they are our fiercest rivals. If he goes there we hate him like any passionate fan should and would.

All irrelevant really as he won't because the guy is class and deserves better than that lot.

It all depends really if he is vengeful and he doesn't strike me like the type. Plus, after what he has been through here, I doubt he would want to work with another tight fisted board. He'll probably enjoy himself for a while on Levy's money and in the summer will wait for a big fish. And even if a big fish don't come, he knows he will get plenty of other offers, so he won't be unemployed after the summer.

Loyalty doesn't exist in football. Not anymore, at least. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he goes there.

Loyalty is a two-way street. Levy and the club showed no loyalty to Pochettino.

First bad season and he was out of the door. I have no doubt the club and Levy were talking to Jose behind Poch's back.
