GkN never played and Sissoko after Lucas came in and Lamela was back hardly got any playing time.

Still both on the payroll and both play in 3 behind kane regardless of how they are rated.
Bottom line is we are over stocked that area compared to Liverpool and most clubs

I agree, just saying I don't really count them in the rotation of players who will actually get time.

GKN will be off. I'll be a little surprised if Sissoko leaves this summer.

Really depends on who we bring in at CM.
I see Grealish as the sissoko replacement. There was a period from January through April where sissoko only had like 2 games in the league where he played more than 15 minutes or something. He's just continuing to get buried on the depth chart.

If Pulisic is available for £65 milliion, then all of our A-list attacking targets are now in play and theoretically available - Martial, Zaha and Pulisic.

They will each likely cost £60-70m, so it's over to you Daniel.

Chelsea and Liverpool set for £65m transfer battle over Christian Pulisic as Borussia Dortmund decide to cash in on teenager… but Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are in the hunt too
  • Borussia Dortmund are prepared to sell in-demand Christian Pulisic this summer
  • The Bundesliga giants are looking to receive a fee of £65million for his services
  • Rivals Bayern Munich have been considered as the favourites to land Pulisic

Martial v zaha v pulisic........well there is a tough question on who id prefer! Pulisic perhaps would be least effective short term BUT has the biggest potential of the 3 and still very very young too.

Perhaps this is what Hercules was hinting at last night in his last update? (it could include this and be the bigger picture, ducks in a row, bite the bullet and make the moves that are 'positive' in nature too of course)

Although the Mail article seemingly mentions nearly every big club in Europe apart from us, from ITK we're pretty confident Pulisic is on our A-list. So, as usual, the Mail knows nothing....

I'm sure Klopp wants Pulisic, but he's spent a ton of money in this window and Mane-Firmino-Salah are already backed up by Shaqiri, Sturridge and Solanke.

Even if we get outbid for one or even two of our A-list (Martial, Zaha & Pulisic), it would be disappointing if we can't secure one of these players for our famous club.

Could that be the ITK info from Hercules about fireworks?

Call it playing poker to get what you want in 3 fronts. If it happens then I will salute the bald eagle.

I agree, if we don't manage to bring in one of these guys then I think we have failed.

Pulisic has got to be by far the most attractive signing from a club point of view (i.e not just on the pitch). Not particularly hard to see the potential of signing him and marketing it with the promotion of NFL, which in turn might well bring in a (bigger) American sponsor for the naming rights. You can just imagine Levy licking his lips at the prospect.

Shouldn't matter what Abramovich does considering The Secret Footballer said Chelsea was being sold yesterday. Helps sell his book I guess ..

Love the 9/10ths bit, if all transfers were described this way eh, it'd be amazing!

If Pulisic really is going to chavski, presumably as the replacement for Willian, then we have a clear run at Zaha and one less competitor for Martial.
