Spurs are the priorty and other results irrelevant unless they have a direct impact on us (i.e mean we win the title etc)

I was cheering for them against Chelsea, that didn't work out too well.

Buy a gun, then proceed to shoot yourself in the cock and or vag region until you repent your sins.

I joke.. kind of.

The only time I'd cheer on the scum is if by 'them' winning it meant we were closer to winning the title. Apart from the scum beating a team that we were in a title race with, providing it wouldn't aid their title hopes of course, I can't imagine wanting to cheer them on. Ever. EVER.

Even if there was a fire.

If we were in the position they were in on the final day of the 98/99 season - relying on them to take points off somebody else to win the title on the final day, then maybe I'd want them to win a little bit. Any other scenario? Fuck em.

4pts ahead of pool on equal games
3pts ahead of scum they've played one less

If they win they go level with us on equal games so no, you're not allowed to cheer them on today.

Surely we never cheer them on? We just silently hope their results benifit us?

This...

Not today as draw is clearly best result for us

...and this.

After United's result today, all we would need then would be a win against the Toffees, Citeh to drop points at Sunderland and the Spammers to beat Chelsea for it to be an ultimate weekend :)

1 It is a wish-list and not a prediction. Just imagine 'Perfect Day' playing in the background :)

2 Unlikely as it may be, it is a derby game and Spam did beat them there earlier in the season.

I know mate, a spam win would be excellent, but it's the thought that they're even in the running that has me laughing, no slight intended.

Nonetheless, I shall be fashioning myself a tin of Spam outfit and sitting in front of the TV with my World Cup Winners at the Stadium of London flag. I would consider going to the stadium itself, but at least on TV you get to actually see the players rather than having to visualise (y)

When I was at school before I had a wage and could travel to away games, there were a few occasions when I decided not to watch the reserves at the Lane and went to Highbury just for a change to cheer on the opposition whoever they were.
