I like the look of this kid more than Vlahovic. I do like Vlahovic, and if his goalscoring form translates out of Italy he'll be a boon for any club, but I do prefer strikers who can create. This guy could be the new samelar hound.
But is he bright like dogs bright?

I read about him about 18 months ago as being the next stellar prospect, and so spent some time watching some games and highlights when Brugge were on last season (as the faux football hipster that I am).

He played CM, RWF, AM, CF over a few games.

I thought he looked a superb technical and intelligent player, but at the time way too weak, gangly, and slow on the turn for the PL. Also despite his height he wasn't particularly good in the air.

I'd not watched him for 12 months. He's notably filled out a bit and also looks to be more mobile and better balanced with the ball.

Because of his other qualities he could be very interesting for us as one of the two "10s" besides Kane, whilst also being retrained for that difficult back up no.9 role.

The issue I thought before for him as a potential no.9, was whilst he can do a lot of the rare Kane type things as a creative 9, his hold up play with his back to goal was nowhere near good enough for the above reasons.

He looks much much more PL ready now.

TLDR: He's primarily a 10, or possibly an 8 in a CM3, and potentially a rotation no.9.

Massive potential. I totally see why we'd go for him given the technical and creative qualities we lack, and his versatility.

This lad has so many upsides.
Much prefer him to the young swede from Juve.
I think he will become a star where ever he lands. Just hope its at Spurs.

He's extremely versatile, but from what I've seen he's recently flourished as an exceptional false 9

We’ve been linked to him within the last few days according to a few low rated media sources. Seems like a signing we should be all over but no doubt we’ll pass up the opportunity and see him flourish at the likes of Leicester.

That's interesting. I wouldn't have called that a year ago.

He was this very talented kid with a weird set of attributes, and I couldn't quite figure out what he was going to be.

His filling out seems to have completely changed how he turns and shifts his balance.

Because of this it seems defenders are more wary of getting too tight because his touch and awareness are so good he'll just play round them.

Impressive in that City video that Dias isn't taking him out.

He looks so much stronger on the ball now.

It would be fun seeing how many SCers are able to spell his namely correctly. For that, I say we sign him.
