Most Liverpool fans are wearing their footie shirts. Like they do on a normal weekday in Liverpool.

Spurs fans seem to be a bit more self conscious and many are just in normal clothes, so it doesn’t seem like there’s as many of us. But in the bars and on the street you can hear a decent amount of London accents, and quite a few people wearing discrete spurs polos.

But 60,000 spurs fans are watching the game at WHL today, so that will have an impact too.

The police will probably have responded to a call from the bar or the neighbors.
about something or other possibly trivial or even imagined or for other local events.

Don't argue, move away, quickly.
They hold all the cards, batons, guns whatever.
Large groups of fans are a challenge magnet for the police
who are not noted for their good humour.

English fans Pool or Spurs all look alike to them.
