Celtic set out Kyogo demands amid Spurs and Burnley interest

Celtic have reportedly set out their demands for striker Kyogo Furuhashi - despite Brendan Rodgers comparing the Hoops star to former Liverpool and Barcelona striker Luis Suarez. The Mirror have reported Rodgers could be willing to part with the Japan international if he receives an offer in excess of £16million.

Bentancur wasn't a regular starter at the time Juventus sold him, which often negatively impacts transfer value (and there's potential funny numbers in some of Juve's transfer dealings).
Conversely, Kyogo has been Celtic's top scorer for consecutive seasons, so is a key player that they would surely prefer to retain.

Why would Celtic undersell their star striker, instead of choosing to keep him unless someone pays a big fee? The answer is they wouldn't, so either he's a fairly average player making the most of playing in a weak league or Celtic will demand far more than £16m for him.
