I like the look of him, think he has some valuable assets that would work well in a Jose system. He's quite explosive, has a hell of a shot and has good movement too.

Jose does tend to like these kind of strikers as well as a CF focal point. He has always liked a variation as it gives him rotation and the ability to counter with lots of firepower and range. Also comes in handy against teams who drop deep as you have 3 or 4 players who can score from nothing or by being in the right place - looks like Quaison offers that.

You have a player who can drop deep to receive and hold up (Kane) then you have multiple runners too.

If Wilson comes in too then it allows us to rest Kane but still have a handful for defences.

He's very good...not really a striker but really good linking up with the striker and running beyond. Would be a great buy imo.

With the homegrown quota needing sorting I would say Wilson is one the most obvious and obtainable ways of fixing that issue.

Yeah the issue with the Quaison link is of course HG quota.

We currently have 17 non HG players in relation to the UEFA rules, therefore we currently have no space for non HG players.

So we can bring in Wilson and Aarons (these are the two prominent links to HG players) and we would be fine and have two important positions filled.

I'm not too concerned with the club HG quota as Kane, Tanganga, Winks and Cirkin probably Whiteman too if we need a top up. Plus itll be 6 if Skipp isnt loaned. This will suffice and we have Sessegnon and Alli to make that 8 HG players in total. 10 if we sign Aarons and Wilson.

The issue then becomes one of what do we do if we want non HG players.

Jose still wants a CB apparently and we are being linked to an alternative RB as well as Sarr, Quaison, Benrahama, etc. So potentially another 3 players.

This makes Aurier, Foyth and Lamela very very dispensable as they are 3 players off the 17 that we could get money for and would be easier to replace.

Then it comes down to Ndombele, if Inter front up and Jose wants him out and he wants to go, we could and would need to bring in another.

There's a lot of pieces to move around but you can see how difficult it can be as if the club went ahead and signed Wilson and Quaison only for Ndombele to leave we may be unbalanced.

Do not get set on one striker link. We are looking at 5 options now , the Bournemouth lad is one , there was a non pl striker Jose wanted pre Covid my feeling is that if the pl give us approval to semi Open ground For opening games and levy can see some light then he will get him for Jose

talks with Milan are ongoing re Serge plan is to bring in two right backs now

2 RBs? Something that sensible doesn't exist so clearly this is BS.

I think the HG quota is a major reason for our 1 in, 1 out strategy to make sure we don't get unbalanced if any one deal falls apart.

Isn’t that kind of Daniel getting Jose a second striker if we can earn some more money..

..I get that the club has the generate money, but missing out in the CL also costs us a fortune. Getting Jose a striker if he’s been a good boy isn’t really an option. We need more goals in our team, full stop.

He’s got a hell of shot on him. Decent pace, strength and very good finishing.

Check out his 3rd, 4th and the goal near the end.

Hadn’t heard of this lad until 10 mins ago and after watching that clip I’m 100% on board. Looks like an exciting player.

D1 seems more chatty than normal. When did he return to COYS, he was off it a year ago? Are their other Itks backing him up, sorry I can’t remember their names.

He's getting a striker anyway, prob Wilson, but he may be able to get his preferred choice which will cost more (Milik?)

That’s how I saw it too. Wilson is the Plan B (due to current economic climate) option, but if Levy can see some form a revenue returning on the horizon he may up the budget back to Plan A.

That sounds to me like we'll fuck about waiting for Millik, and when that doesn't happen we'll have missed out on Wilson too.

Was it Dragon who hinted at the pre-covid striker being from Ligue 1, and we assumed it might be Osimhen (who's obviously moved to Napoli now) as there are a fair few in that league who would suit Mourinho's profile

Depay is the only one who would make any sense as he's better than Wilson

Agreed, thought we were taking a different stance this year, targeting gettable players.
