If we played him at CB?

could be a winner...

but, sadly no..... Awesome man, christ he's older than me an still playing professional football....but it's not a testimonial, it should be a competitive game (well, in a Spurs end of season way)

Play him. Will be a nice touch. Really, what's the worst outcome?
He lets in a bad goal and is roundly ****ed off in the match thread and ruins the weekend of a handful of emotionally unstable tards. Actually, come to think of it, scratch that.

Fuck yeah! I did the same with that clown we played in goal in the Europa League earlier this year, Harry Sumthinorother, I think his name was. ****. Never want to see him darken our doors again.

I think Poch said recently that if our situation in the game is ok, he will play him for the last few minutes so he can get the record. I'm sure we'd all like that. :)

Start Brad. Play him 46'. Bring on Lloris. If Lloris gets red carded, we have England's #1 as our striker so we're all good:cautious:

I'm surprised people think playing Brad automatically equates to defeat. He may be retiring but I bet he still has it for a single game if not a season. How many of you think Christian Gross was right when he almost stopped Mabbutt saying farewell?

I honestly couldn't care either way about finishing 5th or 6th anymore - Europa or not, que se ra, this season came off the rails and it looks like we're going to have to start over next year, again, so bring on whatever comes.

Think it would be a nice touch to play Brad, i'm sure he's still capable, maybe he could marshall our back line into something resembling defence, who knows, but if we play him and it backfires, Everton have a worldie, that will mean his lasting memory will be of a humiliating defeat playing behind inept defenders.

Maybe it's better to chuck him on for the second half or last half hour or something, just in case.

If we did lose with him in goal my last memory of him would be of his last save. Saving us from the Europa League. If we got a result, that's good too.

Absolutely not.

Very strange the guy kept goal for us for what, two seasons? And wasn't anything close to Hugo's level in that time. What is this about?

There is a good few million at stake over 5th-7th. If tha enables us to keep a top player or start or stadium I want that money.

Sadly, (the part in bold) this seems to be the dominant opinion in football.

I do not think that there is anything wrong with a little sentiment towards a long serving member of the team and the PL. He is a class act as a man and a player. I think it would show a distinct lack of class not to give him some pitch time. Perhaps not the whole game, but certainly something significant (e.g. 30 mins).

Start him.

He'll have the game of his life and keep Everton out himself (which is a good job considering our defence lately).
