Berbatov & Keane...

Just wanted to open a discussion about these two. I know they're hardly hot topic but whenever I watch them I can't help thinking of what a shame that partnership was broken. No strike partnership does what they were doing and from what I can see both are struggling without the other. It makes me wonder whether or not they would have been better off staying. With them in attack, a more assured looking defence, the attacking flair of the likes of Modric, and Harry at the helm who knows where we'd be?

I could also add, do you think they regret it all?

Thoughts...

I think Keane regrets it, but he'd never admit it unless he came back. I don't think it's ever a good idea for a striker to move away from a decent club when they're at their peak, but greed got the better of him. As for Berbatov, unfortunately I think he'll come good for United.

No, neither.

keane isn't having the best time, but he's still playing for his boyhood club and playing in the champions league.

berbatov is walking out to 75k people every week for the best team in europe, still in the cl and still in the title race. Better than him scoring goals only for us to concede and sit 11th in the table like last year.

If we weren't still in a relagation scrap then maybe.
