train service from watford junction takes 11 mins (I think) anyone tried this route before?

thats the route i usually take because i live in st albans. but last train back from watford junction to stalbans abbey is very early so you got to go another way back (assuming you need to get back to st albans lol) good route there though definantly.

I read a book called 'Tottenham Massive' written by by Spurs' main man within the Spurs Firm. The book is a bit of an eye opener, he goes on to say that the Spurs Firm hate Chelsea more than any other firm including Arsenal. That did surprise me a bit. His name is Trevor Tanner, if a little shocking the book keeps you involved until the end.

Yeah i saw him on the real football factories with danny dyer, i think it was him anyway. he stated that chelsea is the biggest rilvary. it also stated there is a bigger police presence at spurs-chelsea than any other london game. it was a while ago i saw it now.

That book was the biggest pile of doggy do I have ever had the misfortune to read. All those years going to football and we (the Yids) only got turned over once according to Mr T. We must be supermen. If you are gonna write about that stuff then at least write with a bit of honesty.

Agreed. I thought the book was rubbish. And they paid so little attantion to the football side of things, like not even knowing what games they were at or even watching the games.. Don't sound like football fans to me. Just people looking for an excuse to fight.

The rivalry with chelsea has always been a fighting rivalry because their fans are truly the scum of the earth.
All the effluence from the south bank sink estates along with the worst racist filth in the country.

I am getting on a bit now and yet I swear I still haven't met a chelsea fan with a balanced non racist, non homophobic or non xenophobic attitude to one degree or another.
Surely to God they must exist I firmly believe that they must exist but honestly I have never met one.

I'm going up west before the game perhaps a drink in Covent Garden or Leicester square with a bite to eat then stroll up to the MET line to the game.

Right fuck sake.

Go to baker street, dont go to baker street.

Pubs open at wembley, pubs closed at wembley

Fights here Fights there, transport this transport that.

Where the fuck is a good place to go before the game to get a few pints down the thirsty gullet with a bit of atmosphere. A safe bet shall we say? Personally i would be tempted to head up to the wembley area and find a pub there if anyone could recommend anything?

My god does it really matter, if you want to fight you can have one, if you dont you wont, i like, im sure 99.9% of our fans will go for a great day out and i hope a win, but i can assure i have a few friends with a dodgy past and they will know what is happening and where, but it wont be on websites like this one that is for sure.

Why don't the Firms just make a fight club type event instead of pretending to be fans?

Makes me laugh that even in these days people are fighting over football clubs.

I bet they are the same people that say religion is the cause of all war ;) (actually im guessing that the majoirty of football hooligans won't know much about religion or history at all)...

Still, I'll be watching the game at the local pub with all my mates, who are split between spurs and chelsea fans. Yes there will be banter between us, but before and after the game we will be having a good old ball licking great laugh ;)

Just hope the pikeys stay away, this is the same pub where it kicked off when ENgland got beat by france by Zidanes last minute goal... a pub full of english fans, kicked off between themselves because the team lost, that I really didn't get, but I did get punched a few times trying to get out of that place!!!

They do!

However there are people that fight and there are chelsea fans who hunt in packs and set about other supporters on their own or with their young children.

I am sorry if I sound a bit strong against these filth but 40 years experience has taught me that they really are the lowest of the low, my contempt for them is total.

That said I'm going where I like when I like and they can stick it.

Word on the street is that Chelsea's 'firm' will be aiming a follow-up 'attack' (apparently something to do with a pub getting trashed at our last game with them?) on any Spurs fan in their patch (the Baker St area) on Sunday..........................

From a horses mouth (so to speak)

That was the FA Cup game where we were up 3 - 1

http://www.lifestyleextra.com/ShowS...tball_fans_clash_after_chelsea/spurs_thriller

Been other games since then with no attacks. but you never know !
