WE didn’t play well and deserved to lose.

Two big games in week before may have taken something out of players.

We regroup and go again.

We've never been closer in 40 years and never been better in that time.

If you want an Oil Slaver to take over and match it with the other Oil Slavers fine - but blaming ENIC for not being Oil Slavers is pretty odd imo
That’s not the point i’m making whatsoever though.

Joe Lewis and Daniel Levy are custodians to one of the biggest clubs in the world, a club that has been around way, way longer than them.

I’m not saying they need to throw money at the club and win by spending. What i’m saying is it’s pretty disgraceful that Joe Lewis is a multi-billionaire and he still refuses to support Pochettino, the best manager we’ve had in a very long time, by paying the money for players that he feels will push the club on to competing for the title.

He is simply milking this club for money.

End of the day think it was stretch too far with performances put in lately for us. Could tell we where feeling it. I was saying to mates to bring winks on genuinely at 2-2 because it was so open, but easy for me to say when didnt see rest result coming either.Thought ref bloody harsh on Verts won ball first and momentum carried through. But xmas period will see lots teams slip up so will even itself out its one loss result, know kills me, but finish top 4 be a war now but always going be tough anyways, lets get our chins up lets move forward to next game!

People need remember that we had a huge game on Wednesday that took a lot out of the players physically and mentally and the Goons best players had a midweek break - let's see where both sides are at the end of the season.

Agreed.

Whether people accept it or not, we have over achieved in that we have spent far less than the big clubs but are able to compete.

But there is a window of opportunity, while we still have Eriksen, Kane, et al, to build on that foundation and push on. I fear the high point of that window was the Leceister season, where we genuinely could have won the title.

We are nearing the end of that window, now. Our midfield is so poor compared to Wanyama and Dembele in their prime, and our full backs are mid-tier at best. We haven't replaced properly. And we've shown we don't solve more than one problem each summer, if at all.

Like it or not, we are at best standing still when it comes to the squad as a whole. If Eriksen leaves, does anyone really have any confidence in our ability to replace him? Of course not.

Milking? ENIC's not the Glazers mate. And ENIC have always been open about their longterm plan to sell to the right buyer at the right price.

Prefer them to any other owners tbf

Indeed. It's still inexcusable to play as passive as we did in a derby. But I personally believe the Inter match was more physically and mentally demanding than some give it credit for.

Poch was asked about Toby and didn't say anything about injuries.

It’s not like we weren’t going to lose. We got battered. And the same will happen when they come to us. We are Evens. The fans play their part in this fixture. And this is why it is so hard to win the league as a London team. So many Derbies. We move on.

And you think that is acceptable?

Tottenham have never been this good, this strong on and off the field and this close to the other powerhouses in European football in my lifetime - and I suspect yours.

Yeah - it's been more than acceptable so far. Especially as the moment an Oil Slaver takes over is the moment I walk away from football.

Show me a better owner that's not an Oil Slaver and I'm all yours. (y)

That's well and good but we were ahead with 45 to play. Despite all Arsenal's huff and puff we had a lead to sit on and test their nerve. We let them waltz back in and that was a disgrace.

We’ve won absolutely nothing, our squad is in a huge decline, our owners are doing absolutely nothing to support the manager and stem this decline and you think everything is fine? Wow

Those types of fullbacks you mention would likely cost a small fortune - when we can't even find enough pennies down the back of the sofa to find a half decent midfielder, there is little chance of us shelling out on very good fullbacks with pace that will likely cost us £50m each.

I know that and that is an issue for Poch to deal with, but it's still a fact.

My feelings for Tottenham have hugely changed since we left WHL.

I don’t want to support a football club that strives to finish in the top 4 over winning the league or any trophy in offer.

We’ve become what Arsenal were mocked for. Under ENIC, we’ll never win the league. They simply see the club as an investment and couldn’t care less what we win, so long as we are making a profit.
WTF we just spent 800M on a new stadium. If ENIC didn’t give a shit and just saw us as an investment why would we build such a big stadium to compete with the big boys?

I'm glad about two things, one is that we have a game Wednesday and can quickly wash our mouths from the taste of dogshit and two is that we have Arsenal in the cup in a few weeks and I hope we come better prepared.

One key thing that hinders us is not selecting the high value options in certain attacking situations.

Today Kane came in across the edge of the box and tried a shot when Eriksen was free at the top of the box with clear sights at goal... Kane ignored him, was greedy - shock horror - and took the harder option.

This happens every game (Alli, often a repeat offender).

To me it's a big problem as we all know how tight the margins are.

We could have had 3/4/5 extra crucial goals this season, imo, if we were smarter around the box in this regard.
