  • I miss Peter Crouch. Agree
  • I've seen nothing on the pitch from Sandro to make me think he's any better than Pedro Mendes and find the way Spurs fans talk about him and his 'zany' ways embarrassing, if he was an Liverpool player we'd call him an arsehole. Half-Agree
  • Aaron Lennon has been a more important player for Spurs than Gareth Bale was. At this point I start worrying for your mental health
  • I don't feel comfortable with Lloris in goal, at all, not one bit. I'm now looking up the Samaritans phone number
  • I agreed with David Baddiel. Fairs.
  • I like the (probably) new home shirt. ok.....
  • Tim Sherwood will be Tottenham manager again one day. Stop giving me nightmares
  • Actually, Pedro Mendes was better than Sandro is. Meh
  • I'd rather have a team of Berbatovs than a team of Van Der Vaarts, who wasn't even that good for us anyway of people bothered to remember his time here. Samaritans number: 08457 909090
  • Spursking is an SC god and should be treated as such. I have no opinion

My opinions on your alleged unpopular opinions

I think Sandro is immensely overrated as a player by Spurs fans due to his likability (hell I love him too).

I think Chadli would be a very good center forward, and especially in a Poch system.

Sherwood made some very dumb moves in his time with us, but he also made some rather clever ones.

While I think the player has potential, I do think a significant reason for buying Lamela was due to publicity after selling Bale, and less about specifically addressing our specific need.

Danny Rose is an underrated, quality player who should be our starting left back now and for the foreseeable future.

This thread is wierd, I cant tell if people are being honest or talking shite for giggles.

Exactly.

When I thought it was serious, I was going to say: I know it's not a popular opinion at the moment (though the ITK concerning Hugo's evaluation of the squad may have changed that), but I honestly believe we have a far better squad now than we did when Mr Redknapp took charge, and folk are being blinded by seven new overseas players, six of whom were under 25 YO at point of signing, taking time to settle while joining a young and all over relatively new squad, leading to a relatively poor and literally disappointing season.

Then I thought, if it is all a pee-pee take, maybe I should go for something really outlandish (that hasn't been covered yet), so, here goes: Mr Redknapp knew exactly how to play against negative, defensively minded teams who sat deep against us and hoped to nick a goal by hoofing up to a lone front-man on the break, and we played 100% exciting football in every single one of this type of match :woot::woot::woot:

I would rather we always had a few players from our academy in the team, even if it means we finish a few places lower in the table.

I don't believe the thread is a piss take. Its what people think but wouldn't air because it would be controversial. I was dead serious about my comment on Rebrov.

Selling Tom Huddlestone was a mistake last season and he actually should have been a regularly capped England international.

Actually dead serious. Haters gunna hate
