That’s literally the opposite of what we’ve heard.

I don’t think he would be opposed to joining us. It’s not him forcing the move but at the same time i don’t think he’d reject us.

He’s the only player of the 3 big guns that hasn’t came out and declared he wants to stay! Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

I can't figure out if this is on or it's not, and it's probably not. But:

• Bastoni's agent has come in to see the club chiefs in person
• The Inter director has now flown to London to "probe the English market" (Di Marzio in his Milenkovic story)
• Fab Romano saying Milenkovic is a target in case Bastoni leaves.

It could all just be classic Italian club (especially Inter) grandstanding, but that's an awful lot of unnecessary steps to take if a player is definitely staying. If they're staying you just say no don't you?

I was hoping this was them trying to get us to pay more for Bastoni but I guess the more likely scenario is them trying to scare PSG into paying more for Skriniar.

I'm not even particularly hopeful for this deal. I've been vocally in favour of Torres too and would also be happy with Carmo and other options we've been linked with too. I just can't understand all the decisions Inter are making if he's not for sale.

Look what we did with Kane last summer - he's not for sale, so hang up the phone.

If PSG cannot get Skriniar, then there is a slight chance that Bastoni could be let go.

Inter are the club that needs this deal to happen by this month end. So, I cannot see a situation where, Inter keep rejecting PSG bid.

Milenkovic is a Skriniar replacement.

This is all about getting more money out of PSG by leveraging the possibility of selling Bastoni instead.

They lost that leverage when Bastoni’s agent killed the story dead, and Skriniar has 1 year left so PSG hold all the cards.

Crucial line in that tweet for me is "Player has given the green light to leave". A lot of Inter fans I've seen online seem to think he adores the club and wouldn't leave for any other club unless forced. But if he's on board for leaving then it will probably happen. PSG will pay up
