I disagree. If they didn’t enjoy their job under him, why should have they signed?
Because footballers aren't real people and if they aren't happy where they are they should have to stay where they because they have signed a contract. Not that they have a choice over signing contracts. If they don't sign a contract then they are unemployed and don't get paid.

Unlike the rest of the world they are not allowed to be unhappy with their managers and if they want to leave then they are disloyal, ungrateful, unprofessional bastards.

Yeah I don't get it either.

I think he was all set for Man Utd in the summer but then so was MP. I don't think Alderweireld fancied being managed by Pochettino again.

If Mourinho wants Toby for another 3 years, then just maybe he'll be open to the idea of working with one of the most successful managers ever. At the very least Toby might want to watch it all go up in flames in 3 years - who can resist a car crash?.

Couldn't understand why Poch always gets the benefit of doubts but that doesn't apply to the players. Nobody knows the true account of what happened. Am sure if Toby is to go to another PL club this January, most of us will be hating it.

And despite Poch dropping these so-called contract rebels in his last few games, our results or performance didn't actually improve. Say what you will on that.

Toby was a great servant the last years and not much less responsible for our rise as Pochettino. At least when it comes to improving the defense.

If he can perform I would be very happy to see him stay. Actually I am not really looking forward to see him and Jan leave next season as the others are not quite there yet.
