I think Alders and Verts will be first choice and Wimmer and Dier will mostly play in the cups, there might be some mixing and matching in the cups with Alders or Verts pairing with Wimmer or Dier. I think we will try and sell Fazio.

I think POCH is creating competition for places and allowing for injuries, loss of form and a lot of games.

My guess is that we will end up with 5 central defenders at the club, Alderweireld, vertonghen, Fazio, Dier and Wimmer.

You might be right there, one thing that does jump out at me though is that Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Dier and Wimmer are all ball playing center back. Where Fazio is absolutely not.

Fazio gets a lot of shit but let's remeber the fantastic run of 8 games where he and Verts only allowed something like two goals.yes he's slow and has had some mistakes but let's respect his abilities on the ball for a guy his size. He's a monster in the air which will be very important against certain position...Vlad on the other hand needs to go

I saw Koeman use Alderweireld in midfield so he could be a useful option there in addition to the back 4.
Bentaleb & Mason didn't offer enough protection imo in the big games so wouldn't surprise me to see Toby in midfield first game of the season.
