No. We are playing 2 central midfielders and 3 attacking midfielders.
Yes we do play with three attacking midfielders, two of which are out wide (providing width funnily enough and keeping out of the number 10s space).

For anyone to disagree with what I am saying I can only assume has very little experience of playing football.
I would suggest that you are all Football Manager fanatics at best and have never played football in your life.

We are reporting what we are seeing and what top football experts tell us about different formations.
As I suggested before, if you read some recent match threads (and West Ham is a great start as in that match the lack of width was a real issue) then you might better understand. You will also find that your views on wingers which seem to be confined to 442/orthodox wingers may not be shared by most on SC who have now moved on from 442 to understand the 4231/433/4411 type formations that Spurs now tend to play - its been a learning experience for us all.
against west ham our right side was ok, but having Verts who isnt a wing back and Sigy who does cuts in caused us problems. Against Hull, Lennon did cut in as well and we still had very little width down that side, but again Walker and Townsend created the width down the right
But Townsend got down that right more than Walker did that game
We do push our fullbacks up, and the little i have seen from Smith he puts in a good cross, or better than what we have been doing anyway.
I just dont think they have been going as far up as they have been. Not sure if its because we are so high that there is little space for them to get as far forward and behind the fullback

Do you not understand the mechanics of a 4-2-3-1?Yes we do play with three attacking midfielders, two of which are out wide (providing width funnily enough and keeping out of the number 10s space).

Why the fuck would they ask for Smith on loan and then ask for Wisdom. What a fucking waste of a loan.
Get Smith back and get him playing in our cup and Euro games.
He got sent there for playing CB, as he replaced a injured CB but instead they have moved him to RB and played the third choiceI've been suggestiing Smith back for weeks - wasted at Derby
Off subject but Liverpool fans irae at Wisdon Playing RB rather than CB........

Do not think we can recall him until the window; certainly not without a month's notice.
In a interesting development, Derby have signed Michael keane on loan(a centre back)He got sent there for playing CB, as he replaced a injured CB but instead they have moved him to RB and played the third choice
Better than Naughton IMOapparently hes back at spurs now
