To all Spurs Fans,

I'm from the Far East and like my moniker a Spurs fan since 1968.

Before I became aware of SC, SO. Glory-glory etc etc, I posted some views on 606. I went through them again and I was struck by the anger at MJ in my first post and the elation in my second after the Manure game. I am posting them here again for you to show everyone just what it feels like to be a fan of this great club...the highs and the lows, the anger and the happiness...this is a great club and I would not change my love and loyalty for anything!!!

Again and Again...how much more of this have the long suffering fans of the Spurs to take before all of them say...ENOUGH!! I have had enough of my beloved Spurs being humiliated time and again... I have said it many times and I should be pleased (but I am not) that Paul Robinson has finally admitted that the team lacks steel. I believe that this is absolutely due to the inept leadership of the manager and the lackadaisical doings on the training ground...there can be no other reason for the things that are going wrong...woeful defending, passes going astray, the players having no clue about what they are supposed to be doing...it seems that 11 names are put down on a list and the players are told to go and play football without any clear direction of tactics and strategies.

There is nothing more to be said that I have not said before except..MARTIN JOL HAS TO GO. He is doing great harm to Tottenham Hotspur the longer he stays. I thought the Liverpool game would be the turning point, the game was played by hard men and even if we lost, we could hold our heads high (even though Robinson was totally at fault for Torres' goal).

I remember Martin Jol saying (a few days after the Liverpool game) that his players were willing to fight for every yard of space on the pitch...WHICH PLAYERS WERE YOU TALKING ABOUT???...surely not the ones on the pitch at St James' Park...Martin,please, please stop deluding yourself..stop believing all the pre-season PR stuff, roll up your sleeves, get your men to really sweat on the training ground and MAYBE we might see a good team on the football pitch...otherwise please just gracefully leave and let us get someone in who can really motivate our players to make them proud to wear the Spurs shirt... the players must always remember that the Spurs shirt is an honour given to them, it is not their God given right to wear the shirt just because they are paid a fancy salary, YOU HAVE TO EARN THE RIGHT TO WEAR THE SHIRT AND TO WEAR IT WITH PRIDE..otherwise you should just leave White Hart Lane.

I'm absolutely ecstatic and sad at the same time...Juande Ramos could be the best thing that has ever happened to Spurs in a very long time...Marin Jol was a rare breed- a thorough gentleman!

The fitness coach Alvarez says that the physical condition of the Spurs players was surprising...I've been saying that for a long time...they have had too much molly-coddling...it's time to roll up the sleeves and prove that you're worthy to wear the Spurs shirt and wear it with pride!!!

Hallelujah...the good times are here!!! Somebody up there must be a Spurs fan!!!

COYS....COYS...COYS

29 January 2008

I watched the FA Cup Match between MU and Spurs and what I saw was something I never thought I would see...an attacking team that never let up, great and glorious chances taken and spurned...especially:

1. Aaron Lennon's superb run though he could have done better at the finish..should have passed instead of trying for goal...
2. Jamie O'Hara's amazing free kick...literally 2-3 inches wide...if it had gone into goal it would have been the goal of the season!!
3. I was specially pleased to hear the commentator (Rob Hawthorne)say "Spurs are down to 10 men and they are still coming forward"...I could feel the wonder in his voice and something approaching awe!!!
4. To all Spurs supporters, take heart my friends.. SPURS ARE ON THEIR WAY TO GLORY!!!! If all the missed chances had been converted (Lennon, Jenas and Berbs) we could have had another 5-1!!

5. We are still in the UEFA cup...Surely that would be a greater achievement than winning the FA Cup??

MINE EYES HAVE SEEN THE GLORY OF SPURS....COYS!!!!

It's no wonder I love this club and this team!!!!

COME ON YOU SPURS!!!!
