As an aside, Clattenburg’s transformation towards Mike Dean levels of flamboyance when giving a decision is not something that can be enjoyed. As the Daily Telegraph’s Jonathan Liew said in January, Clattenburg has the look of a man who would not turn down Strictly Come Dancing.

Good article. I certainly won't be apologising for getting a bit of luck with the 'penalty'. It's about time we had a result and it was evened out by Toure being on the pitch after 2 yellow card tackles. I also remember Balotelli's winner when he should have seen red so City will have to suck it up.

One of the comments is right, and they mentioned it on Sky as well. The penalty woke them up. Whether it was right or wrong, that decision gave Man City the impetus to actually play. It did them a favour.. what messed them up was having Yaya and Fernando(?) too far up and Otamendi making a stupid decision to step up.

What was also weird, and Henry said it, was that no one came over to their young striker as soon as he scored. He runs off, slides, pumps his fists and gets up before anyone is even near him. The box was quite crowded, they can't have been too far away from him.. do their players even care?

Here's my 16 conclusions from the game:
1. We won
2. We won
3. We won
4. We won
5. We won
6. We won
7. We won
8. We won
9. We won
10. We won
11. We won
12. We won
13. We won
14. We won
15. We won
16. We f-ing won!!

I don't care if we had lucky penalty, if they hit the bar, if they had more shots than us, etc., the fact that will go down in history is that WE WON!!!!

At this stage of the season, that's all that matters. Pellegrini can moan all he likes; it just makes the victory sweeter.

They would probably feel dirty touching a player who was on less than 75k a week.

Danners9, many apologies, didn't even know I'd done that, I very rarely post or press buttons. Can I take it off, undo what's been done?

Bottom right below his post it should say "undo rating".

The majority of this is decent but I can't agree with the first conclusion, just 6 points back, with their squad of players and 36 points to play for still, there is no way City are out of the title race.
