I guess that depends on your definition of "major" so here are the facts (Prem only top 6 finishes) to help people form their opinion;
14/15 9 starts + 5 subs
15/16 14 starts + 3 subs
16/17 18 starts + 5 subs
17/18 26 starts + 3 subs
18/19 20 starts + 7 subs
19/20 16 starts + 2 subs...
Great servant, model professional and seems like a thoroughly nice bloke, but is symptomatic of our club and it's lack of silverware because he is, at best, slightly above average in terms of quality, yet we have persevered with him and even now fans are saying we should keep him as CB cover...
So 'punkisback' you think the quality of the coaches in the Scottish Prem, The J1 League and The Australian A League are as good (if not better) as those in the EPL?
I'm going South American Midfield!

It was either VDV or Deki who spoke post match about being 'more mature' as a team and individuals. I wonder if that was the message to them from Ange afterwards?
If Deki throws himself to the floor it's a pen, if VDV throws himself to the floor when Havertz pushed him it's a free kick. The one...
If VDV is not so good in thr air and we insist on zonal marking then put him on the near post sort of where Kane used to be - then at least the opposition have to get the ball high to clear him which means there is less chnace of it landing in the middle of our six yard box and more chance of it...
Here's what Dier actually said " 'Interestingly, he really doesn’t do any tactical work. What he does is, every single training drill from Monday to Friday is drawn up to represent the way that he wants to play."
I think it is set pieces which includes free kicks (Villa at home Everton away spring to mind). 14 goals out of 52 is 26.9% so over a quarter of our goals conceded from set pieces!
Leicester's outlier title win aside, there is no blueprint for a manager leading a team to glory on a shoestring. So we have a manager with years of experience at levels below the Prem and we expect him to achieve what exactly with a limited budget? It's asking for a miracle almost.
I posted...
We may see things slightly differently but that's football, I would pursue success ahead of an ideal playing identiy.
For clarity your No.2 above is not where I am - I think we should have given Conte time becuase he is a proven winner in the Prem and Serie A so he knows what it takes at this...
Hopefully there is nothing wrong with me apart from being a bit bemused.
Many fans state this is a long term rebuild project in probably the most competitive league in Europe (if not the world) and cite Klopp & Arteta as examples of why Ange needs time. Maybe you think differently*, but for...
Stats suggest otherwise - I was there and Son and Kane had good chances first half and we could / should have had 3 goals in the first 20 minutes of the second half, Kane, Kulu and Sessignon. Watch the extended highlights back.
I think the fact that many fans have different thoughts on team selection game in game out, says a lot about where we are currently - look back to the Chelsea home game and there would be much more of a sense of agreement surrounding the starting 11. Injuries, form and results unsettles everyone...
Last season we lost 0-2 at home to Woolwich, we had more shots (17-14) more shots on target (7-5) and edged possesion (51%-49%). Were poor in the first half and good in the second under a coach deemed negative and boring!
