If he had more acceleration and pace, chances are he wouldn't have the strength of an ox and the ability to swat away those that try to tackle him. It's a compromise I'm happy to accept.

Maybe I’m in a bit of a minority, but I like to see the slightly slower, skilful players like Kulusevski. There are so many fast players and runners these days, that someone like Kulu makes a nice change.

We also have a nice tradition of world class attacking and creative players like Kane, Berbatov and Modric who were never particularly pacey and never needed pace to be world class.

LOVE this, love it when players open up like this, really great well written story, love his determination to overcome the odds and especially love how he and the team and fans realised what a big deal it was against Chelsea that we kept playing our way and that Ange wants each player to be true to himself.

I think this team under Ange will do something very special one day, there is an energy building, a special energy I've not felt since peak Poch days but this one is different it has more of a confidence and certainty, under Poch it was an exciting ride but you never knew if we'd get over the line but Ange has that steely old skool inner confidence which he is transferring to the players, fans and club.

Deki is the exact type of character we need and he is improving as a player all the time.

Good lad and glad he loves being at Spurs so much, we love you too Deki.

100% mate its nice to see these types of players as well as the faster ones. Its like playing Fifa, if all you do is pass it to the fast wingers and hold R2 it gets pretty boring and repeatitive. Ange also likes having different types of attacking options.

At times Deki's lack of pace is an issue but at times his strength and skill are a big strength so he just needs to keep playing to his strengths.

He was very good against Villa, much closer to his higher level.

I love having both types. The skill of a Modric or Berbatov had me amazed, but then Lennon/Bale/Walker/Rose etc running at fullbacks had me either on the edge of my seat or off it. I think the perfect squad has both in abundance.

I think we need to look at how well the Kulu / Porro combination works in total rather than just Kulu as an individual

to me they complement each other pretty well and Porros skills set can be maximised without being a defensive liability due to Kulus overall work rate

On the website , not sure it might be Spursplay only , in a debrief talking about the Villa game , Deki getting confused saying we have 10 games left, seems to be forgetting Chelsea as no date set yet..

Seem to have some hi-tech stuff at the media centre at Hotspur Way with pretty patterns on the floor.

Really is like the high points under Poch this, yet we're just getting started.
There are a lot of similarities to this club, and when Poch took over. I think Poch overachieved, much sooner than Levy was expecting - with the austerity due to the stadium construction, and I think you can say that Ange has had us competing sooner than many might have expected, given the re-build required, and selling Kane on the eve of the season.

In addition - they both immediately uplifted the spirit of the club when they got here. I do feel like the club infrastructure supporting Ange is a bit better than when Poch was here, so hopefully that leads to better returns.

Totally agree. We weren't in the position to capitalise under Poch. Fingers crossed we grab the opportunity and wring its neck this time.

What he wrote in that letter shows a young man who had lots of doubts, but due to his family and his own determination, has put himself in a very happy place. Luckily for us, that place is Tottenham.
It is not just him, but the whole squad is in a place with the manager and fans, where they truly believe that something good is happening.
I have not felt like this since 1987 under Pleat. COYS 💙
