Thought Udogie in particular was incredible today, didn't put a foot wrong defensively and his ball carrying was excellent.

Pretty much everyone played well, only concerning performances for me was Kulu who still keeps lacking incisiveness in the final third imo and Bissouma who had a few dodgy moments which could have cost us in the first half.

Pape sarr deserves a shout out for once again being a difference maker, his athleticism to get in behind and quality with his final ball are so good.

First time I've ever given it to "team effort". Not a weak link on the park today. Our away fans were brilliant too, from start to finish.

gave it to brennan but a few others deserving too. romero a bit below par this time
Went for johnson also just felt he was beating his man at will and then got the important second goal.

Udogie also worthy and overall no bad games i thought.

Johnson man of the match for me, but it was a toss up between him and Sonny. Brennan worked his bollocks off though and was pressing like an absolute machine.

Based on our possession, we deservedly won this 6 pointer pressing derby! It was more than a coincidence that we won so comprehensively when we started with a midfield of Bissouma, Maddison and Sarr as we did in the early games of this season. I vote team effort

Johnson was great in attack, didn't let anyone mess with Udogie and did well in corner defending to protect Vicario so he was my Motm, but couple of others deserve it too.

So many options and that’s the sign of a top team performance!!! Probably Johnson for me, but Udogie, Sarr, and Son were also immense.

Johnson is starting to make the impact we’d hoped. Feels like he’s really moving in the right direction now.

Great performance. Destiny or johnson will if we’re picking one, otherwise a team effort

Son and Sarr are two obvious choices.

Johnson was fantastic today, but Im giving it to UDOGIE.

He was monstrous, riding challenges, driving us forward and turning defense into attack constantly.

The power of his ball carrying is incredible, and was a major reason for our dominance even before the red.

Went for team effort today because I didn't really think there was a poor performance by the end.
Son was beginning to frustrate me but then ended up with a goal and two assists. Was tempted by Johnson or Udogie because they both stood out to me, Destiny is a specimen and Johnson had that fire in him again today, he's settling in nicely.

I've seen some criticism of them but I personally thought that both Romero and Kulusevski were very good.
Cuti was incredibly calm and collected, while Deki just doesn't stop and is a smart player.
That moment he took the ball down the pitch to their corner, fighting off two challenges along the way, then committed a cheeky foul to keep them penned back in their half was very clever.

Possibly the most calm and controlled we've been, helped by Mcginn being a dick but two quick goals and then total control.
Controlled where the game was played and picked them off seemingly at will.

Would have been Mickey VDV, but Johnson just edges it. Great pressing and a good game overall.

Thumbs up to Good Doggie, Madders and Porro.

Bissouma was a bit all at sea though. Surprised he wasn't hooked at half-time.

Goal 1.
Great bit of determination breaking the press before releasing Sarr for the first goal
Goal 2
Pressed and won the ball before giving it to Son and then ran off the ball to make space for Johnson
Goal 3
Assist to Son
Goal 4
Nothing - lazy bugger

But ok then…

I’m genuinely surprised some are saying Son. Yes he scored and assisted 2 but anyone who watched the game surely would’ve seen that those stats aside, he had a really poor game. Several misplaced passes and several opportunities to shoot instead of taking a touch that led to a tackle. He put in the effort as always but this was last season’s Sonny, nothing he did came off for the first 90 minutes (aside from the assist to Johnson).

With that said, the goal shows why he should never really be subbed cos no one else can score a great goal like that after a shite game like he can.

Johnson, Udoghie, Sarr and vdv all excellent today. Happy for Dragusin to get a proper amount of time too.

Agree, Son was poor for a lot of the game but still dangerous and improved as the fame went on. If he'd been on it we should have been up at half time. But still, quality player. 👌

Agree with all this, but that’s kind of the player I think Son is becoming - which I’m fine with, as long as:
1) he gets his numbers and
2) we have players around him that make up for his short comings in general play

It’s why I prefer him as a striker
