Exact profile of striker we’ve been missing as an option in our squad since Nando departed. I’d love for him and Parrott to get a proper preseason this summer. Going into next season with Son, Richy, Veliz and Parrott could be some selection.

I would be really surprised if Parrott makes it with us but there's a real depth of potential with Scarlett as well

Been reports that both Ajax and PSV are looking at Parrott for the summer
He looked good every time he came on for us. Honestly I’d try and sell Rich in the summer, let the striker role be between Son and Veliz.

i would assume and hope that his loan has no option to buy at the end?
Have a good feeling about this kid, but i dont want him to be another one that keeps going out on loan all the time because he cant make the 1st team. He seems to be a natural finisher to me, with the desire to match

Definitely no option to buy at the end. Pretty sure we just didn't see enough opportunity for him to play much the 2nd half of the season so he was better off getting some game time elsewhere.
I think he will be a part of our first team squad next season. For the front 3 positions I think we'll have Son, Kulusevski, Richarlison, Werner, Johnson and Veliz as the first 6 choices.

thanks for that, still not convinced we will buy Werner at the end of his loan, and he is more a winger now anyway i think. Unless we buy a high profile CF like Toney, i think Veliz should just fight for game time with Son\Richy

My guess is we will buy Werner but I'm on the fence as to whether we should.

Don't think we will buy Werner either. Think we go for a younger one with a higher ceiling. Think Veliz will be fighting for a 1st team spot hard next season

Veliz def has i higher ceiling than Parrott or Scarlett in my opinion. so hopefully he will get more chances from the start of next season

I think the Scarlett situation may have influenced that too, I guess there’s not too much between them when it comes to game time this season and with Scarlett unable to be loaned again it made sense to loan Véliz out . If he stayed he’d probably only get 10 minutes here or there

Rumour mill is licking up that well go all guns blazing for Neto this summer.
Id love him, and it pains me to say it, but I think he might be looking a bit higher up the table than us sadly.
