Think we’re getting a little ahead of ourselves.

The lads Swedish so chances are he’ll arrive flat packed in the summer, we won’t really know what sort of midfielder we’re working with until we have him out of the box and fully assembled.

On a serious note though, great to see how much emotional intelligence he appears to have from the way he conversed with Ange and Emerson, wishing them luck and just how polite he seems to be.

Never really got my head around the HG rules, as he is 18 once he gets to 21 and been here three years will he count as HG.

Wonder what the plans are , no doubt straight into the 1st team squad like Phillips & Veliz . Will be on the pre season tour to get some time with teammates but then what, a loan next season or time on the bench like Donley.
then its up to him to impress but id imagine that he'd get a good amount of game time

This is great and informative but we DEFINITELY need a HG rules thread. My head hurts trying to get my head around the rules and how they differ for Prem and European competitions and having it all in one place could help us all.....

Briefly, the future looks good but quite a bit of work to do in the summer - I'm sure the club is well aware of that!

Yes, he will if he's still with us.

Hopefully we have an Allen key.

I see him as a replacement for GLC. I just think with his injuries he just can't be relied upon and he will be down to 1 year in the summer. I think we need to let him go and have Bergvall on the bench instead. It's going to be better to have a young prospect with a high ceiling to rely on as an impact sub and possible starter. I don't think GLC is ever a threat to the first team but just a good squad option. For me you either have to be an extablished player good enough to start (and he is established only). Or a young prospect who offers an option off the bench but at least has the potential to start. This is the difference with Bergvall.

I also think his talent will be wasted in the deep role. Similar with Modric playing there before Redknapp pushed him further forward. So I would still look to replace Hojbjerg in the summer but keep Bergvall over GLC. Funny his number is 18 too so maybe a sign of what's to come. A blonde number 18 you say? No pressure.

Don't be a knob, Dembele was a God.
And right there is what I mean.

Hoddle (for example) was a god. Dembele is nowhere near. He’s not fit to scrub Hoddles jockstrap clean, not even close. Nowhere near. But he sits alongside Hoddle as a ‘god’……….Do me a favour :D

All I’m saying is I don’t understand this cult surrounding him and the above is a great example of it. If people are going to equate that with me saying he’s shit then crack on

Lo Celso has been with us 5 years now and every single season he has had multiple lay offs.

You just cannot see him ever being a dependable player, even as a squad player
