Hopefully they can't register him next season and we can have a dip at him on a free because they've mismanaged the situation so fucking poorly.
Whatever happens they are going to need to offload someone. Felix won’t be staying because they can’t afford him. Problem is the only players clubs really want from them are their young stars. Obviously they won’t sell Gavi or Pedri but there aren’t many I can think of who will get them a decent fee. I think they would have sold De Jong had they got Bergvall but that didn’t happen (ha) but they still might out of desperation and Raphinha will probably be on the chopping block. Both are on silly wages tho so not sure who is going to go for them.

And that's not including kids like Hall and Keeley too.
Yeah, just at been chatting through it all with my lad and basically, apart from a Son replacement, we're sorted for the next decade if even half of these youngsters reach their potential.

The future is looking really exciting and the turn around in this club has been nothing short of incredible.

So happy to see us finally having a plan for the future, instead of lurching from one thing to the next.

I mean I think whichever role you put him in you tailor it slightly to his ability. He’s that versatile yet excels in many areas. If you put him in DM when in attack you would give him More license to roam and have the CM cover. Long term im not sure which role would be best as I think having him slightly deeper then the 10 is maybe ideal. Essentially it’s going to be an intriguing puzzle. Like I said I think him and Sarr will complement each other really well from a skill set perspective, I can see those two building an impressive long term partnership.
Pretty spot on according to Lucas himself. When he signed for Djurgarden a year ago he said that he was an 8, but that he also could play as a 6 as it gives him more space to run into in possession.

I’d be amazed if we weren’t seriously considering a summer bid for Bardghji even before securing Bergvall but the Swedish/Scandi theme runs strong now.
We've done well in the past in building little enclaves of players of the same nationality/cultural background. Would be all for a Scandi one.

Understandably been alot of love for Paratici recently but a little shout out to Johann Lange .

Early days but sounds like he spearheaded this move and has seemingly come in and hit the ground running

Makes complete sense. If we got Sarr to fill the gap when he roams from DM and with our inverted FB I think it would work really nicely. It would also allow the 10 to have more of a presence inside the opposition box. Not only that it would have the added effect of pulling the opposition midfield out of position and keep them tactically off balance.

From what I gather he was promised he'd be part of the first team squad next season.
That's apparently what Xavi had promised him before he cashed in his chips and fucked it up for Barca.
Reckon this lad will be knocking on the door and doing a Sarr next season.

Summertime we can focus on the future of the front 3/succession planning for Son, suitable cover at LB and a more like for like backup for Vicario.

Then we are set.

We're operating so intelligently and professionally in the market now, that I actually have no doubts we'll get it right.

The strategic squad building, talent ID, and operating to schmooze players / families and close deals between Ange, Lange, and Fab is exceptional.

I'm HIGHLY critical of Levy on here but credit where it's due, he put this team together.

If he trusts them to get on with it then we could be going places.
