Thankfully all that nonsense is long gone lol

That numpty still living in the past lol

Their fanbase reminds me of an adult who grew up as a spoilt child.

Entitlement is ingrained in them.

The Gooners seem to approve of the Werner loan.

  • Good deal imo. Werner gives you that pace upfront, and I think Ange gets him firing too (SA_Gunner)
  • They don't have much Forwards available so make sense this deal specially with Son won't be available for month. Unsure about Werner ability he look very average even in bundesliga
  • Richarlison is a horrible finisher, so they have to try something. Not sure Werner is much better, but at least there is a chance he will start performing again.
  • Good deal tbh. Johnson looks out of his depth and son is away
  • Richalison been okay for last few weeks start to settle but I think this is deal for depth they playing Howard from big bang theory ( Bayan Gil) and he so s**t
  • Has been okay yeah, wow, but against Burnley he reverted back to his normal self and made horrible finishes. Ange clearly sees this if he loans Werner. He can't depend on Richarlison as the only striker. Johnson could play striker also, but they need depth, and you don't want Son there if it's possible as he is great in build up.
  • Ange already signed as much forwards as Mikel since he hired as arsenal Manager lol. We really need refreshing things up soon we have opportunity to get 2-3 forward players between now and summer
  • Gil is horrendous

It’s funny how Richarlison is a ‘horrible finisher’ yet have more goal contributions in the league than Martinelli and Jesus combined.

Johnson who is ‘out of his depth’ has more goal contributions than both of them as well.

Had a pain in my hole at the start of last season listening to how Jesus was the solution to all their striking problems and we'd see the real him after he wasn't used to his potential by City.

Turns out the bits we saw at City, where he was a decent player but not clinical or influential enough, were very representative of what he'd do when he'd become first choice.

Let's be honest finishing isn't richarlison's strength. He's improved but he's missed some howlers

Arsemania - Timo Werner Official

  • Weirdly enough I can see Werner cook at Sp**s
  • We should have been in for Werner. We are short in attack line, and there is a player available on the loan market. I don't see why we are hesitant
  • Yes, Werner is trash, but who else you can get?
  • Werner at LW is probably better than...... look I'll stop myself there, I know A-M don't wanna hear it.
  • Bruv anyone in attack under Arteta would look trash.
  • Ah, we’re in that stage of the window where A-M are envious of Sp**s signing players no one on here wishlisted.
  • Difference is Werner under Ange will more than likely work. Richarlison, Son, Kulu, Maddison and Werner has more goals in them than our attack.
  • I feel Ange is trying to replicate with what he was doing at Celtic with Maeda. Both players are pretty wasteful in front of goal too. Not fully convinced by Werner but I guess tactically he does suit Ange’s system, so it will be interesting to see if it works out for him.
  • Will be funny seeing this *** outscoring Jesus
  • Pretty sure Sp**s won't activate that option no matter how he preformed. There will be better players available in summer. This is state of CF in market this window pretty depressing stuff.
  • Werner is a shrewd move by the chicken boys, but of course AG is quick to dismiss it
  • It's a good and cheap January loan, and the option isn't high either. But Werner's history makes it that you can't trust him to be a better finisher than Richarlison in EPL. He likely is, because overall Richarlison has been catastrophic, but there are no guarantees and the expectation is that he is only slightly better. But for strikers it can take only a few goals and they get the confidence.

They have some weird fans but I have to say especially on their forum they also have way more sensible and rational fans than certainly any of our other rivals who just poo poo everything we do with complete bias.

I still hope they crash and burn and fold as a club but credit where it’s due they do seem to know a bit about other teams and players and are capable of an occasional non biased objective opinion, especially compared to say Liverpool fans who know absolutely nothing about any other team or player not related to Liverpool.

We've have been spoiled by the likes of Kane and Son

these guys had their best season:
Berbatov got 15 goals in 36 games,
Keane got 16 goals in 36 games
Defoe got 18 goals in 34 starts

I think we have to judge richarlison at the end of the season but his output hasn't been terrible especially when you compare it to our rivals outside of Salah and Haaland, the rest of the league is struggling with Watkins doing the next best with 9 goals(richarlison has 6 despite missing a chunk

Would be interesting to see their conversion rates based on real chances.

I don't think hes been bad at all post op but he needs multiple chances to score. That's no bad thing at all but you can't say his shooting accuracy is his strength.

And to be fair that season was an outlier for Defoe as well, his next best was 13. Richarlison obviously isn’t the all round player Berba was, and probably not Keane either. But he’s a better player than Defoe (who did very little outside score, and as above didn’t do that very often) who is remembered a lot more fondly

Not sure about that. Defoe could dribble 1v1 and shift and shoot from various ranges.

Richarlison has better hold up and does more work in wider areas but is mostly effective in the area. You won't see him scoring any goals Defoe did from all angles and ranges.
