We saw yesterday the 'Cruyff' total football concept can be beaten when teams sit back and close the space. Mourinho's Inter beat Barca away the year they won the Champions League exactly the same way.

The Mourinho concept is transition. Not neccesarily counter attack. A team is at their weakest when they lose possesion. They're not set up on the defensive so the speed of transition is vital. Regardless where you win the ball on the pitch, if you transition quick enough the opposing team don't have enough time to set up on the defensive.

I like Jose's way.

Anthony Taylor has got to be hauled off the pitch right now by the 4th official. Evans is on 2 yellows apprently and is still on the pitch.

Seriously Mourinho has to ask if that is now officially sanctioned action so fair for Spurs players to do the same to opponents

This has been comfortable though and credit to the players looking not only comfortable in the system going forward, but defensively they are happy to fall into shape and know that we can defend anything thrown into the box.

Toby and Sanchez looking once again like a truly solid pairing.

VAR continues to be a joke. He knocked Kane in the face and nothing.
