I can't say it's a style of football I particularly enjoy but it's clear what the plan is.

Soak up pressure by getting back quickly and being organised then hit as swiftly as possible.

Think Utd were pretty dangerous in the first 20 or so and Hugo has had a good game. Bit of good fortune about the goal but he gave it a proper wallop so it was on De Gea very quickly.

Shitting bricks here - welcome back Spurs - COYS!

Keane will never ever find it in himself to credit Spurs for any sort of positive performance. It’s always because United aren’t at the races etc

Well, obviously we should not be ahead, but we are, thanks to Man Utd collectively underestimating Bergwijn's pace, in the same way that people do with Lucas. That and a clusterfuck of bad defending from just about everyone, especially Maguire and De Gea.

Other than that, our maligned double pivot midfield has been hanging on, just, but hanging on. Lamela has played well, without the final ball. Kane is invisible. Son has had his moments. And the defence, surprisingly, has not only coped, it has been been organised and disciplined, with a lot of energetic defensive help from Son, Bergwijn, Kane and Lamela.

Not bad. But in no circumstances do we deserve to be ahead. 0-0 would be fair, 0-1 would be nothing to complain about.

If this is the way that we're going to play I wouldn't be at all surprised if Kane decides to leave. With us sitting back and the normal 'pass' upfield being a punt out by Lloris, he will hardly see the ball. He may still score his share of goals because he's so deadly, but if I was him I wouldn't want to run my nuts off for 90 minutes and spend most of my time jumping for floated high balls that I'm not going to win; and only getting a few touches every game.

Keane has to be playing a character at this point. Bit like how Karl Pilkington started to play it up. Fair play though, I personally love it, much better than having the other tits on there.

True but he is way harder on United than any other team. Like Souness and Liverpool.

A pretty decent first half. We definitely grew as the half went on. Great organisation and shape. Would like a second goal though. COYS.

Keane made himself look a tit there by saying the second save was straight forward enough he could have saved.

That being said, he's great value though - must've been pent up all that frustration in lock down!

He's right, though. Man Utd threw away all their hard work in midfield and attack with comedy defending.

Pretty much like a lot of posters on here...

Don't forget Keane was a boyhood Spurs fan.

I don't think de gea was at fault.

That much power from that range. Just hope you can get something in the way.

His legs have gone for the old Kane. I think we will see a more creative deeper Kane

Feel like Mourinho's the first coach to tell Lamela he can't dwell on the ball in the Premiership.
