I'm not sure if he would have, but he deserved more time to turn things around.

Back into the doldrums if we don't get the next man right.
But at least we will have a world class stadium and training facilities ?

Yep. He’s successor is on a hiding to nothing whatever happens. I feel sorry for him already!
Agreed. There will be no shortage of volunteers though and we can still attract someone top drawer.
Can see the fans singing Poch’s name well into the future. Sure he never won anything but it was good to be a spurs fan again!

For people backing levy he’s been in charge for years he’s the one appointing these crap managers one tin pot trophy in that time is he gonna take any responsibility for this?
Why not? the only chairman in history not to buy anyone in a summer transfer window
Poch was too good to get sacked he should of walked out then.
Yeah we’ve had a bad year if you want to blame Poch for that then I agree he shouldn’t of put up with that twat and walked after that window it’s been downhill ever since.
I only wish he had now.

I wanted him gone but am deeply sad that he's gone. The last 5 years were brilliant, best I've seen since Keith Burkinshaw.

Lots of pissed off annoyed folks on here, quite rightly. Some are pleased he's gone. Let's face it he lost the team, he didn't want to be here. His mood this year, and his comments were an obvious admission that he wanted out. He simply didn't want to be here any longer.

Whoever comes in now wont do as well as Poch did. I hope he does, but they are stepping into massive shoes. I wish them luck, but I have this awful feeling we're going to be another hire and fire club for the short term, or until Levy leaves.

Best manager in my near 30 years of supporting this club.. taking us to a champions league final and twice close to winning the league, 4 straight years of being in the champions league. Thank you Potch for so many great memories!

Reminds me so much of when we sacked Jol. He took us on another level and restored a lot of pride in our club at that time. But ultimately he hit his limit and then hit some bad form. Was it painful to sack him, yes, but it was the right for the club in the long term. For me is the same here, massively painful but also the right thing to do for the club.
