So players not putting in the effort won. Poch warned of this. Levy failed him

Sad but it was time I feel. Things have been so poor for so long, not all Pochs doing to be fair but he didnt help himself either.
Poor tactics, team selections, shooting his mouth off about leaving after cl final, the Moura/Kane debacle in the CL Final just added to the piss poor mismanagement of not buying any players in 2 windows and letting players contracts run down.
What a shit show.
From such a high to so low so bloody quickly.
Oh well it'll be interesting if nothing else.

It is sad, we have played brilliantly under Poch, our front three we're touted by the pundits of being up their with the best in Europe, I think he will go on and do well with a young team somewhere, he does well with good young players and builds confidence, im not sure he gets on to well with the older players, I think that's why he wanted a few of the older players out in the summer but Levy wanted to much for them, In fact i think quite a bit of this downfall can be contributed to Levy.

Good luck to Poch. he gave us some amazing nights

Things have been extremely poor for a very long time now and at times it has looked like Poch has been asking to get sacked. I’ve been quite critical of his team selections and tactics for months now, but strangely, I’m really gutted about the news tonight. Has been the best of times supporting Spurs since the Burkinshaw days and that is quite some time.

Danny also needs to be taking a look a bit closer to home and his role in letting this team and manager down.

So what next then? Hopefully not an Eddie Howe or Gareth Southgate. Nagelsmann would be a maybe for me. But at the top of my list would be Max Allegri or Brendan Rodgers. Mourinho would probably win us some pots but I don’t think he would be a good fit for our club or our fans.

Thank you Mauricio. On the whole, it’s been good but not great days. But I wish you all the very best for the future as long as it’s not with manu!

Feel very sad ... but football is - at end of day - a multi-billion pound business, and levy runs things for profit. I’m excited by a new era, but it’ll be through gritted teeth if Maureen takes the helm... if he isn’t the one right now, I’ll be taken aback.

Big, big, big mistake. Should have trusted him with a transition period, if any Spurs manager had earned that in my lifetime it was him. The fans that had been waiting around for a reason to snap at him are no better than the morons on AFTV IMHO. Good Job.
This isnt a flash in the pan or knee jerk reaction.
A few more weeks with results carrying on as they have been for the last 12 months and we'll be in a relegation battle. Deny all you like but thats the truth of it.
NOBODY knows if this is a good decision or not. Not even you.
Maybe he'd have suddenly turned it around, maybe not. I've never seen a manager turn around a slump like this so I'd say not.
What happens next is anybody's guess.
We cant live in the past. Poch was fantastic for us and will always be remembered for getting us to a CL Final (and remembered for what he did when we got there) but I think its just time for a change.

Very sad to see Poch removed, he has been the best manager we have had for many years. He had the team playing fantastic football but unfortunately we came up short just when it mattered most.

A very sad day ,but one we all knew was coming, if the truth be known. Many on here have been calling for this day, so no real surprise. That said, in my 46 years a fan, he has given me some of the best moments to date. The CL Final being the pinnacle. However, we never pushed on and if his record over the past 12 months was any other manager, with any other club, or even ours, he would have been gone by now. You could see it on his face from the beginning of the season , that he wasn't in it anymore. Players didn't help the situation and that is also shitty, on their part.

No one manager, player, chairman or board member is bigger than the club. I guess Mourinho is already lined up and will be announced shortly.

The Poch was loved by all, including myself, but a toss up of being dragged into a relegation fight or sacking Poch, then we all know which one we wanted.

Thanks for the great memories

Harry Redknapp, what ever you think of him, knows the whispers well And he immediately said Jose Mourinho. Likely sounded out already. Odds on at 1/3
He’s a winner. Could pull the FA Cup in for us. Could get Jan back onside.
But in the other hand we know he could wreck the club in three seasons.
Man this is gonna be a interesting run up to Christmas.

On a side note. Poch’s Yearly net spend was only £18m. Incredible To do so well with so little, comparatively, over five seasons.

Miss you Poch. Huge thanks

If Poch ends up at Utd, and we end up with Howe or Southgate, I'll do my nut.

Thx Poch. Hope the club know what they're doing..........coys!
