The only individual players I'd put down as poor are Alli, Bergwijn and Vorm. And to be fair, Alli at least in part because the tactics don't play to his strengths one bit.
First 20 and after 1-1 the others clearly showed they can play some decent fastpaced football. Why they're not allowed to...
I'm split. He's playing like shit, yes. But on the other hand whenever he's playing you know he only need to get his game on for like 2 seconds with the ball on his feet in a decent position and we score a goal. He has that quality and he's certainly not mishitting balls intentionally. Maybe...
Don't think it's really disappeared, just the triggers have been adjusted. We're just doing it in low risk/high reward situations rather than all the time. Probably wise to preserve the squad and I think we'll adjust more and more back the further we get in the new year. But it does make us look...
He says what he has to say to be fair. Can't go out and say the squad isn't good enough, would be disastrous to the players we do have. Don't need any Mourinho-style-slaughtering of the team. Of course it's a BS company line, we all know that, but don't see any honest positioning or statements...
Have seen him play live a few times. Rough diamond, not a PL starter, but loads of potential. If we can get him at 15 and give him to Poch and team, he could seriously be killing it in a year or two. Just the type we want in there.
Interesting with offers starting to pop in now. Could it be that the early window close is working in our favour this week? Given our lack of incomings foreign clubs starting to realise that if they don't buy now we might not let anyone go later as we won't weaken our squad at that stage.
Very...
Have always felt Paulinho got a bit more stick than deserved. Sure some of it was due to high expectations (and price) but he did alright, 10 goals and a handful of assists in 67 games for us isn't horrible. He's a good player, just didn't quite work out for us in the end.
It's Juventus after all. Not a shit team by any means. And we dominated 169 of 180 minutes. Can't ask for a better performance overall. Yeah, we could have scored a couple more. It happens. First goal they score, yeah marking could have been better but it was also a very good attacking move. It...
Just a couple of youth players some years back,
Oscar Jansson, played one first team friendly I think. Between the posts in Örebro now.
Jon Jönsson, now in Elfsborg after playing for Malmö and a brief spell in Toulouse and Brøndby, three time Swedish league champion.
