If he had more acceleration and pace, chances are he wouldn't have the strength of an ox and the ability to swat away those that try to tackle him. It's a compromise I'm happy to accept.
Maybe I’m in a bit of a minority, but I like to see the slightly slower, skilful players like Kulusevski. There are so many fast players and runners these days, that someone like Kulu makes a nice change.
We also have a nice tradition of world class attacking and creative players like Kane, Berbatov and Modric who were never particularly pacey and never needed pace to be world class.
