I'm still on the fence with the signing. That summarises where I am with the signing.
As far as value and suitability for our playing style is concerned, it's a no-brainer.
For the front 3 positions we are going into next season with Son, Richarlison, Kulusevski, Johnson, Werner, Solomon, Gil and Veliz.
Son aside, none really stand out as reliable quality though several have the potential to be.
I'd be surprised if we are looking to sell Solomon, only Gil looks like it might be the right time for him to move on.
This half season loan is Werner's chance to convince us to give him a way back into the Prem at the top end. With what I have seen so far I'm not convinced he particularly improves us though I am open to him changing my mind.
Yeah I’m the same but hopefully he keeps this form up and it becomes a no brainierI'm still on the fence with the signing.
He fits our system really well, seems like a really good guy and doesn't seem the type to complain if making a few sub appearances.
I still worry that signing him leaves with good options but a lack of special players. Not against the signing and he might be the best fit available, just on the fence a bit.
Whether we keep him or not it’s been a successful loan with I’m sure more to come from himYeah I’m the same but hopefully he keeps this form up and it becomes a no brainier
I was all over us signing him when he was up and coming. The boy has a lot more in his locker. A bit of confidence is all required. A no brainer at £15m IMO.Whether we keep him or not it’s been a successful loan with I’m sure more to come from him

I think Solomon and Gil probably end up going, with Werner and another more marquee winger replacing them.As far as value for money is concerned, it's a no brainer.
For me, the question is about squad size. We play with a front 3 if we don't include the playmaker role that Maddison plays.
For those 3 places we have a choice of Son, Richarlison, Johnson, Kulusevski and Solomon with Gil and Veliz as the young backups.
I believe ignoring young back ups we want 2 good options for each position. Adding Werner to those 5 means we have that but lack that special player.
I don't believe we're looking to sell any of those players except for Gil this summer.
I'm not convinced Solomon leaves after 1 season that is tarred by injury.I think Solomon and Gil probably end up going, with Werner and another more marquee winger replacing them.
I think if he does leave it will be the injury concerns, and whether we want to risk being left short again.I'm not convinced Solomon leaves after 1 season that is tarred by injury.
Pretty much 5. He set up udogie for a goal but udogie played the ball into a defender before scoring so doesn't count as the assist4 goal contributions (2g, 2a) in 7 apps is a fantastic return for a January loan signing. He’s clearly made himself a really popular member of the dressing room, too. Think it’s a no brainer to make him a permanent signing in the summer.
The other question is if another team will buy him after a season with practically no football through injury.I think if he does leave it will be the injury concerns, and whether we want to risk being left short again.
I love him even more todayI love him
I don't really know why
But I do
I will accept though that my weirdness is not a reason to spend 15m
A couple more goals between now and June would help
