The inevitable sequence of stupid, misleading “hot dog” type jokes.
People forget that Ndombele has absolutely breathtaking ball skills. Wandering in and watching him in a random few minutes of training, you could easily think he’s Cruyff reincarnated and see why all that money has been spent on him.
The problems emerge later and in real-game situations. He runs out of steam after 45-50 minutes. He lets adversity affect his attitude to an unhealthy degree. He goes through periods when he does unprofessional, verging on insubordinate things during matches.
Surely he needs to move on, but there’s no point in inventing issues, spouting tired clichés and being relentlessly snide.
