A custom made go-kart helmetI know I shouldn't question why but why did he choose us over the other top clubs? Genuinely what is our unique selling point I wonder?
This does seem quite a coup after all.
Until he’s 6’4 he’s 6’3!He’s not 6’4 until January
Let's just hope that Hajduk still values him in the youth- and first team so he can continue to develop. Two years at a club he wouldn't belong to, at that age, can be risky IMO.
Sounds like a massive talent though which is exciting!
The Gooners did that with the French Lad who's name escapes me now. We tried to muscle in on that deal at the last second if I'm not mistaken.Let's just hope that Hajduk still values him in the youth- and first team so he can continue to develop. A bit different. He was already a regular starter for St. Etienne and one of their better players IIRC. The incentive was always there for the teams to play him.The Gooners did that with the French Lad who's name escapes me now. We tried to muscle in on that deal at the last second if I'm not mistaken.
The more we bring in talented young players and ACTUALLY PLAY THEM - the likes of Udogie, etc. the more other talented young players will view Spurs as a good destination for them to further their careers.

It's the most important thing he's done for us imo.Indeed. Paratici has worked wonders with this. Been telling you all for 2+ years how much he has revolutionised the youth set up, and especially identifying young talent from elsewhere and bringing them in.
I would expect there to be significant clauses and bonuses to incentivize his continuing development - no way we would send a 16 year old on a two-year loan without considering this.Let's just hope that Hajduk still values him in the youth- and first team so he can continue to develop. Is it a loan? I thought it was more of a pre contract for when he turns 18. Like endrick and real Madrid it's an 'upcoming transfer' rather than a loan back.I would expect there to be significant clauses and bonuses to incentivize his continuing development - no way we would send a 16 year old on a two-year loan without considering this.
This is my assumption from my understanding of the UEFA/FIFA rules that state non-EU or EEA countries cannot transfer players unless they are 18. I'm not sure what the legal term would be in this case but my assumption/guess is that it's sort of a legally binding commitment to his transfer, not a transfer in itself, and thus his contract with us doesn't start until he's 18.Is it a loan? I don't know the answer, I'm asking. It would also save 2 years of his contract being eaten up
I think Leeds are a bigger club than Split and wouldn't want to be seen as developing a youngster for a "rival", similar to what Fulham one said about one of ours (Sessegnon maybe?).I was going to way the Jack Clarke situation.
But I think that was a little unique as Bielsa seemed to have already started for planning without him as Leeds got some other wingers in on loan and he had also had a health scare which clearly effected him.
We should have done better due diligence with that one but seen as Udogie and Sarr were both signed and loaned under the Paratici era it has probably been done well.
Foyth, Vusković and Defendi, thats some depth for the future. Mouthwateringwe beat PSG to sign Foyth too, just saying...
