I'm clinging to the hope that none of the press have gone with 'it's done' yet....ours or the Germans (unless ive missed something?)
Im mentally prepared for it, it feels inevitable, but that's when i'll accept it's done.

Bild going with the Levy on Holiday bit now:

Great opening line to that article:

The word "cold" has had three forms of increase since Saturday: colder, coldest - and Daniel Levy

It's not though. I think even if he hasn't officially responded to the bid, he will and in a short delay to irritate rather than antagonise to the point of damage.
We might need to deal with Bayern and we need a salvageable relationship
He’s waiting for the inevitable desperate follow up email: “Herr Levy, just wanted to check you received our last email and it hadn’t got filtered into your spam folder, look forward to hearing from you soon. Danke schon”

Also, it’s gonna really annoy me on fifa next year. When I play online the other team is always PSG or Bayern. Therefore I’ve dropped him from my squad in preparation. That’ll learn him.

This not made it in?

Am I the only one that feels this is still completely undecided?

The deadline was ours for them to meet the price and Bayern apparently met it. Can't see there's much left to be decided.

Bild have updated the article already - theyre suspecting he's gone to see JL (some funny translations...)

A suspicion gives Bayern hope: What is the Tottenham boss doing in the USA?

Interesting development in poker around Harry Kane (30)!
In its last offer, Bayern had given Tottenham a written deadline of midnight on Saturday to accept the record champions ' offer for the English national striker.

Now it is clear: club boss Daniel Levy (61) initially let the ultimatum pass. In addition, he traveled to the United States. According to BILD information, Levy is staying in Miami for the weekend, and his family is on vacation for two weeks.

Why is the Tottenham boss in the US when he's not vacationing with his family?

One guess: Levy, who is known in the football business as a tough negotiator, wants to demonstrate that Bayern's advertising (still) leaves him cold - and thus tease out more money.

Another possibility, however, is that Levy meets with Tottenham owner Joe Lewis (86) in Florida to discuss how to proceed. The British billionaire's investment company is based in Orlando, around 320 kilometers north of Miami. This assumption would give Bayern hope! Because Lewis had already recommended to Levy to sell Kane if he could not extend with the striker.

Is Levy dating Tottenham owner Lewis?

On Monday there was another round of talks between Bayern managers Jan-Christian Dreesen (55) and Marco Neppe (37) and Levy in London. The offer from Munich is said to have been a fixed amount of EUR 85 million plus 10 million bonuses.

After the two and a half hour meeting, Bayern improved its offer again during the week. According to “The Athletic”, the offer is 93 million euros plus bonus payments. According to BILD information, it exceeds the EUR 100 million mark and should also be the last.

But Bayern conceded the next Levy basket! What's next?

The poker continues! There's no sign Kane wants to renew his contract with Spurs. The striker is said to have made it clear to those responsible that he wants a decision no later than the start of the Premier League season on August 13th.

Kane is very attached to his heart club. It is therefore important to him that Tottenham get a fee. However, if Levy remains as cold as he has been, he risks damaging the relationship between the striker and the club - and Kane will move to Munich on a free transfer when his contract expires next summer.

If there's any truth to this I imagine he'll still be working most of the time he's over there.
Can just see Levy taking a phone call to Bayern while riding Space mountain at Disneyland...

Bayern: DO you accept the offer??

Levy: weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Bayern: I give up

Is this all just pantomime at Levy's request while we iron out the final details and figure out how to spend the money?

Or is the saga genuinely still rumbling on?

That’s a huge statement for Bild to make.

Personally, if he doesn’t join Bayern this summer then I can never see him joining.

Madrid/Utd/City/Barca will all be sniffing around Kane on a free.
Yeah that line stood out to me. Pure BILD bias there.

Massive loss but as always the team goes on. I'm just glad we're moving from this brand of football of the last few years. It was wasted on Kane sadly. The Poch era is my favourite as a fan and Kane was a big part of that. On the plus side got to see him become the highest scorer in the clubs history. A club legend for sure and its been an honour to have him so long.

As for the future, we finished 8th last season so should at least do better than that. Our squad is better than the one that Bale left. We needed a proper rebuild and when Poch mentioned painful this is what he meant. Obviously it wouldn't have been Kane and Lloris but this time it is. This will feel a fresh exciting young team. Now go spend the money on Tapsoba and a forward please.
