I got through to the ticket office the following day and was told it would be fine to change the ST class to "senior", the chap confirmed it with his manager and they would get back to me. Email today saying no, the number of senior STs is strictly limited and they won't change it. So pretty much every seat can be classed as adult and junior but hardly any are senior even though their price point map shows whole blocks as being for seniors and juniors as well as adults. Clear discrimination against old fuckers like me. I guess my 50 plus years as fan, former ST holder for more than 30 years and even a premium seat holder counts for nothing as I am unlikely to spend as much on merchandise as a junior.
I don't know why I expected anything else.
Just gift her the ticket every game and she gets in on the concession price, play them at their own gameI’m thinking that at 84 this could be my last season going to games so I asked the club if I could transfer my ST to my daughter, who drives me to the stadium, next season and they said it’s not possible to assign a ticket to another person. I’d like to know why this isn't possible ?
I have the same problem. I transferred my st over to my dad in the early 2000's. My mum doesn't go any more, but they won't let me transfer the ticket back.I’m thinking that at 84 this could be my last season going to games so I asked the club if I could transfer my ST to my daughter, who drives me to the stadium, next season and they said it’s not possible to assign a ticket to another person. Just keep the original emails. Delete the season ticket when you want someone else to use it. And get them to add through the link on the original email. I did this all last season. And had no issues. Sent it to multiple mates as well. Just make sure the wallet pass is deleted after. And then you download it again from the email. If the QR code works for paper tickets, would a screenshot not also work? Pretty sure there’s no ‘connectivity’ going on…
That’s a nicely elegant workaroundJust keep the original emails. Delete the season ticket when you want someone else to use it. And get them to add through the link on the original email. As others have said, find the original email with the wallet pass link. Forward it to her, get her to add it to her phone... or just 'gift it' in the online share each matchday!I’m thinking that at 84 this could be my last season going to games so I asked the club if I could transfer my ST to my daughter, who drives me to the stadium, next season and they said it’s not possible to assign a ticket to another person. Looking at some other forums looks like season tickets still not sold out , not many left but seems a combination of negative football , high ticket cost , cost of living crisis & Levy probably all contributing factors.
It does if you want to get a secured seat and then look for a better seat next year. It’s what I did all those years ago.Yeah a hundred or so left apparently but all up in the gods. I wouldnt pay for one up there at the prices quoted when you can still pick up better seats on the exchange each match. Makes no sense really.
This exists and is in practice at almost every venue in the US. Stops people from screenshotting a ticket and sending it to 10 different people.I recently went to a music gig and they had some new tech on the QR code on the e-ticket that meant that a screen shot wouldn’t work. I wonder how long before that gets introduced at the stadium - going to upset a lot of folks if it is!

If Spurs start having an issue with duplicate tickets they could easily turn this on. Maybe it's not a problem at this point in time?If you swipe down on your ticket, you'll notice the QR code the ticket is tied to changes... all spurs have to do is turn on (i presume) the option that only the latest QR image is valid when the ticket in the wallet is shown... and none of the others will work. Or maybe it's to show the ticket barrier staff that it does change and isn't a static screenshot
