Especially if you end up having to sack said cheaper option and pay for another new manager.

Levy doesn’t seem aware of false economy.

Same when going for cheaper option players, sometimes it works out cheaper long-term to pay for the one that was actually wanted as we’ll be more successful, finish higher and heck might even win a trophy… some day…

Peeps entitled to disagree, but @Hoopspur gotta admit I find it kinda weird here lol.

So that's where potter, Rodgers and Ange are coming from so. Shambles and once again confirms we have no idea or plan
Ange has been mentioned a fair few times in here by ITKs so there’s probably something in that one.

I really really hope the chairman wakes up from whatever arrogant delusion he is in and gets in a director of football who can sort this mess out.

Club using social media and their PR to test the waters with managers names. Vote against it. They are deliberately gauging fans reactions.,
Club is clueless. You called it out. I honestly think without a full scale riot in the stands, they’ll never change

Naglesmann only should be the response!
If Levy cared more about the Club than his own ego, he would be crawling back to Nagelsmann, ask for forgiveness for the unbelievably stupid PR stunt and do everything in his power to get him onboard.

This will not happen.

Even if that happened I just see the same as with Jose and Conte. It will end up with broken promises and Nagelsmann will walk in a year. The only way out of this cycle is with Levy gone. A leopard doesn't change its spots.

So why haven’t they appointed Potch or JN? Not listening that much!
Read it again, it's obvious, I mean like really obvious, they are gauging reactions to names THEY want to consider, they aren't asking who WE want.

But whatever, the salt needs to be in hand.

Meh, I couldn't give much of a fuck right now because I don't think it's gotten as bad as it could yet.

God if that's the case they're even more pathetic than I thought.

If they believe in a manager they shouldn't give a fuck about what we think - fans are reactionary AF and wrong about this kind of thing all the bloody time.

If the club cared about what we think we’d have gone all in on Poch or Naglesmann which would have been fine.

what they probably want is who will the fans accept that is also a yes man.

The thing that finally resulted in change at Leyton Orient was a pitch invasion and sit-in, forcing the abandonment of the game. And that game didn’t even have a global audience and the same level of embarrassment that would result from a PL game being disrupted.

Right - there's an existential risk we're going to end up with another Nuno-level appointment.

The way Rangnick was singing like a canary the other day I’d say the DoF role would be quite easily solvable if enough money came his way.. then you’d like to think we’d be a step closer to JN then.

But even then. They want a yes man, to run things according to their ideals.
So whether a positive reaction to Slot, Nagelsmann or whoever next on social media, these managers won’t want to come to Spurs under current ownership

I feel like you go over and over the same argument re Postecoglou without taking in any of the numerous posts on why he'd actually be a good fit for Spurs, which is probably why he shouldn't be hired.

Fans will approach his appointment with a level of entitlement, he'll never succeed without their backing and when he's sacked because of the usual lack of impatience, it will be directed at Levy and the board again.

Yeah let's get this guy in. He's going to be shit. At least Nuno had some pedigree, this bloke hasn't achieved anything. Whittlesea Zebras, fuck me. Nothing in his career makes him look like he will be a good fit for a PL club. He's probably not even a Palace or West Ham level appointment.

Joe most certainly not. But I’m sure we’ve had some chat about Vivienne having Levy in the crosshairs for a while.

Metric tonne of salt on all that but feel like we’ve heard that a few times. Also not like we have any idea what she’d be able to do in removing Levy. Hopefully that’s at least someone in a position of power at Spurs and ENIC who wants to do something about the current predicament.
You're right, there has been talk. I just wonder whether, assuming that she does articulate her opinions that they are just lost amongst the other opinions that apparently resonate around the board room.

Champions League is a money maker. We might even get a Stadium sponsor with more success. At the moment we are a laughing stock and that cannot be good for business.
Man U were a laughing stock for a decade after Fergie and the glazers made money hand over fist. I agree that’s where the money is but Levy is all about risk, and very little personal financial investment. Is the juice worth the squeeze for him to be a competitive football club, clearly it’s not for him.
