The club we adore is being held hostage by an unmovable megalomaniac. Hard to see any hope on the horizon as long as he continues blocking the light.

Why? I've supported them since the early '80s and find it extremely depressing. You have to think of it in context to the situation. When Spurs were relegated in the 70s, they weren't considered one of Europe's top ten wealthiest clubs. They didn't have one of the best stadiums in the world or training facilities.

The lackluster '90s and early 2000s was the very definition of average. But we accepted it, because it was on par with our means. However, now, we have all of the above and it's going to waste. And when you have waited over 30+ years to finally see your team has the means to compete at the top, and tasted it... this current situation stings. As life is very short. And for those that have waited a very long time to fill our boots with the joys of success, it's horrid.

If we did that you all know who we’d likely have in charge for next season right?

It’s mental to me this hasn’t happened. You’d have two of the most important football people at the club on the same page from day one.
