However, I also wouldn't rule Slot out until the extension is 100% confirmed as the bald one might go back with a new and improved offer in an attempt to turn his head

So glad I didn’t renew my membership.

Checking out for a while. This club is going nowhere
Same. not renewing anything with the club. Its an absolute joke.

I can deal with us not being great on the pitch, I still watched us in the naughties etc, but I cannot abide by having a chairman who gets a free pass to destroy the footballing side of the club.

He has WASTED having a generational talent in kane for free and if he cannot see the club is heading for catastrophe on the footballing side he really is deluded.

Once kane goes, son continues to regress, we are seriously in real real trouble as a club. Im not sticking around for sheer incompetence

The Goat hears that Amorim greatly impresses Humpty Dumpty.

No joke, this is what first appears about his style of play if you look him up on Wikipedia 😂

He plays the same formation as Conte and he has similar philosophies as Conte.

Only difference is he’s less likely to call out Levy and the board in press conferences

Not meant as a criticism of your post but these points were all made about Conte as far as wingbacks are concerned. The club is in desperate need of something fresh and new, not a variation on a theme.

As we saw with Poch, good coaches can elevate existing players and bring through others through youth promotion or the transfer market. If Udogie and Porro are good enough then they will find a way to operate in any system, but to recruit a coach on the basis you’ve stockpiled wing backs is the wrong priority.
Porro hasn’t settled into the league yet and Udogie hasn’t even arrived yet, I don’t think we should write off a manager getting tune out of them because they play a 343. The issue isn’t with any particular formation, a wingback system isn’t a defensive formation, the problem is with the fact we have one good CB, no good GK and haven’t had the luxury of two settled attacking wingbacks. Add a good GK, 2 good CB’s with Romero, keep Bentancur and Bissouma fit and integrate Porro and Udogie properly and our side in a 343 would not be shabby whatsoever

Why are people so down on Amorim? His Sporting side that lost their three best players, Nunes, Paulinha and Porro last year but they still knocked Arsenal out of Europe and they beat us in the CL.
Because its 3 4 3, the football isn't great and he's not seen as some big up and coming talent like slot.

Well it is, becuase we have seen time and time again 3 4 3 does work as every single club just packs midfield and overruns us there.

Add Spalletti to the list?

Not at all convinced.

He's vastly experienced, but had a very up/down career. Personally feel he's lucked out this season at Napoli given how poor the other teams have been and how incredible some of their signings have been in Kim Min-jae and Khvicha (in partnership with Osimhen) in particular.

Just have to hope Sporting price him out of reach. Problem is they didn't have a very good season, look like they will finish 4th, so they may be more open to cashing in.
They definitely don't want to lose him, despite how this season panned out.

Okay, would a 352 suit you then? My point is a wingback system is not a defensive formation and the people crying about a manager that plays one are being ridiculous. We can’t afford to throw 80m down the drain when it’s going to cost upwards of 100m to sort the GK and CB positions if we were to say buy Raya, Laporte and N’dicka (signing on fee and high wages/agent fee’s)

Nothings certain with Tottenham . What if I was to say he wanted to sell the big boys to recreate the next team and levy said no ! Unfourtanlty if someone wants to come here it doesn’t mean they will always come . Visions have to align . Levy’s seems to have a different vision to every manager out there currently.

That's horrendous.

I feel like I'm going a bit insane.

Lol what a load of nonsense

I interpret that as, ‘Levy wants a cheap option’.

Honestly I can’t find anything positive to say about the club atm. When the new fixtures come out I’ll be looking at the fixtures for my nearest L1 and L2 teams long before I check out when Spurs are scheduled to lose the NLD.
